"i fucking hate you." george seethed with his dagger pressed up against dream's neck.
"please, you know you love me," dream laughed casually. it wasn't like george was holding a knife to his neck on the edge of a building.
"i could slit your throat right now, you know that?"
"psh, you wouldn't."
"what makes you think that?" george questioned, narrowing his eyes.
"it's simple, how many times do we have to go over this? you love me."
"i don't fucking love you, why do you keep saying that?" george complained, clearly annoyed. he put more pressure on the dagger into dream's neck just enough to make a small sliver of blood cascade down his collarbone.
"you wouldn't kill me." dream said, clearly confident in his answer.
"you're so dumb."
"because, i'd know if you were and before you could even move, i'd shoot a bullet right up your spine." he said, arrogance clouding his smug tone.
george didn't even flinch at the familar feeling of the cold muzzle of dream's gun nudge his lower back harshly.
he just rolled his eyes and sent an annoyed look towards dream, who smiled victoriously.
the two were both interrupted by the sounds of helicopters and marching feet heading towards their way.
"well, i guess it's time for us to part." dream said, letting his eyes wander over george's face fondly.
he gave a soft, gentle kiss on george's forehead, leaving him stunned and watched as dream lazily smiled.
"until next time, amore."
then he simply grabbed a rope that was attached to a helicopter that somehow appeared during their conversation. he waved at george as he was taken away, grinning widely at his flustered and red state. he laughed as he heard a very distant, "fuck you, dream!" from his beloved george, standing on the same roof that they had shared some close moments on just a few minutes ago.
"i love you too, darling."
