george was relaxing in his modern apartment when suddenly a ping brought him out of his trance-like state of calmness.

it was quite dark, as he was up at around 1 am, sitting near the giant window admiring the bustling city below him.

it always amazed him that the city was mostly alive at these times. where the people party, with no fear of being discovered of their true self, strangers meeting, befriending, fighting, arguing.

it was truly unnatural, but somehow it fit into society quite well.

george checked his phone, the blueish glow illuminating his face and making him squint in result.

george felt himself stupidly getting excited over a stranger, but nobody seemed to share his love for minecraft as much as he did. he was cheerful over the fact that somebody that he met online not even 5 minutes ago, shared a hobby with him.  frankly, it made george happy that he could have something in common with somebody even if it was a stranger.

shaking away his thoughts, george clicked on youtube and searched up "dream." a channel popped up with the profile picture as a white blob with a derpy smiley face on it. and below the profile picture, stood the intimidating 14M subscribers.

george choked, and his finger flew back to the green messages app.

dream choked and wheezed his famous tea-kettle ones and this one was boiling very hotly. he doubled over and fell off his sofa making him laugh even more.

he spent a good 20 seconds laughing his ass off and then heard a soft ping.

he rushed up, ecstatic to  talk with george.
