His First Mate

Chapter one.

"Cmon lass we'll bunk here for the night." My dad says to me. We sit down at a bar in Tortuga, and order a bottle of rum. "So Gibbs, who's this lovely lassie you're with tonight?" The bartender asks and looks at me intently. "Thas me daughter so watch it.." I smile at my dad. And he finishes half the rum and leaves the rest for me. "I'm gonna turn in for the night alright lass?" He walks over to the pig pen and rests his head on a pig, and within seconds he's fast asleep. I giggle to myself, finish the rest of the Rum and walk over to a table just as two familiar faces walk in. My eyes light up as they land on William Turner my best friend since I was fourteen. He meets my eye and rushes over to hug me "y/n!! When did you get here?" I chuckle "I've been in Tortuga for about 3 days, me and dad decided to stay here tonight!" I state. "Dad? I don't see your dad here.." Will looks at me confused. I point to the pig pen, And giggle, slightly drunk. The one and only Captain Jack Sparrow smiles at me, heat rushes to my cheeks. He, Will and I walk over to the pen. Jack grabs a bucket of water and splashes my dad. He gasps "CURSE YA FOR BREATHIN YA SLACKED-JAWED IDIOT!" Then he realises who woke him up. "Mothers love! Jack!" He sighs. "You should know not to wake a man when he's sleepin. It's bad luck.." jack simply replies with "fortunately, I know how to counter it. The man who did the waking buys the man who was sleeping a drink. The man who was sleeping drinks it while listening to a proposition from the man who did the waking." I smile and look down as Jack catches my eye. "Aye, that'll about do it." My dad says with a smile. Jack helps him up, Will grabs the bucket and covers Gibbs with the water again. "Blast! I'm already awake!!" He yells. "That was for the smell." Will says, Jack smiles at him and nods. My dad just looks at him understandingly.
