"Mr. Gibbs? I have a question.." he nods and tells me to ask him, I sigh, "now.. how do I put this?" I tap my chin. "Lets say, I met a girl, and I may have stirrings..?" I say, unsure. "Feelings." He corrects me. I roll my eyes. "No. Not feelings. More like, if she died I wouldn't be able to forget her, I wouldn't be able to forgive myself. She means a lot? To me?" I sigh and walk off, "don't worry Gibbs, I'll figure it out." I smile and walk off to y/n. Handing her my coat, because her torso is, um, quite exposed.. not to mention the rest of her..
*normal pov*
"Dad! I need answers!" I yell.
"Arigt' lass.. it all started with me and your mother. She was a mermaid, and she weren't allowed on land.. but we found a way. Eventually she had you.
My beautiful y/n.. she wasn't allowed to keep you, and you were too young for me to take care of. I dunno what woulda 'append if you died.. so she had to give you away to your uncle. If I'd had known he woulda done ya like this lass. I'd neva had let him take you." But since you've got me blood and her blood. That means you're part mermaid and part pirate." He explains. "A child of the land and sea." Jack says, dad just nods.
"And that means?" I question, Jack explains that being a child of the land and sea means that I can transform from human to mermaid. Depending on when I'm on land or sea.
