Chapter 8: Her

Luke's P.O.V

We got on stage. My heart racing. She was staring at me. I can't mess up. I just can't. If I do. I'm a fool.

Michael: Don't want to be an American idiot. Don't want the nation under the new mania. And can hear the sound of new hysteria? The subliminal mind fuck America.

Me: Welcome to the new kind of tension. All across the alienation. Where everything isn't meant to be okay. Television dreams are tomorrow. We're not the ones who were meant to follow. For that's enough to argue.

Michael: Well maybe I'm the faggot America. I'm not apart of the redneck agenda. Now everybody do the propaganda. We sing along to the age of paranoia.

Ashton: You lookin' at me?!

Calum: Welcome to the new kind of tension. All across the alienation. Where everything isn't meant to be okay. Television dreams are tomorrow. We're not the ones who were meant to follow. For that's enough to argue.

Ashton: Luke?!

All: Don't want to be an American idiot. One nation controlled by the media. Information Age of hysteria.

Calum: Its calling out to idiot America.

Michael: Welcome to the new kind of tension. All across the alienation. Where everything isn't meant to be okay.

Ashton: Motherfucking okay!

Michael: Television dreams are tomorrow. We're not the ones who were meant to follow. For that's enough to argue. C'mon.

Marcy quickly comes on stage. "Well well well, that was some song boys. That was American Idiot by GreenDay, now 5 Seconds of Summer written song Heart ache on the big screen,"

Me: Started out like in the movies
But it ended like a bad dream
Curtain opened, heard the crowd roar
This one's a repeat, seen it before

Calum: Rewind to the start before it all went wrong? What's going on?

Me: Fast forward to the end, after everyone's gone home
And they've forgotten it all

All: This ain't a movie that I wanna see
A tragic story, starring you and me
Yell "cut", we're stuck inside this scene
This is heartache on the big screen
The clock is ticking, and I'm out of time
The camera's rolling, and I forgot my lines
My script is ripped and now I see

Me:This is heartache on the big screen
This is heartache on the big screen

Calum: Curtain closes on this cliché
A good story of a bad day
Back to square one where I started
As I stand here broken-hearted

Me: Fast forward to the end, after everyone's gone home
And they've forgotten it all

All: This ain't a movie that I wanna see
A tragic story, starring you and me
Yell "cut", we're stuck inside this scene
This is heartache on the big screen
The clock is ticking, and I'm out of time
The camera's rolling, and I forgot my lines
My script is ripped and now I see

Me:This is heartache on the big screen

Michael: If Hollywood could see me now
I'd get the starring role
But they won't so I'll just keep on acting a fool
Me: This ain't a movie that I wanna see
A tragic story, starring you and me
Yell "cut", we're stuck inside this scene
Yeah

All: The clock is ticking, and I'm out of time
The camera's rolling, and I forgot my lines
My script is ripped and now I see

Me: This is heartache on the big screen
This is heartache on the big screen
This is heartache on the big screen

We got off stage, we got a 23 out of 30 and it looks like we're at least staying. there's been bands who got 15 and under. I mean they're good but they've been goofing off more than working.

So I can see why they got a 15 and under. Eden's band gets on stage after us. They sang Bang Dem Sticks by Meghan Trainor and they wrote Love Bites, like wow. They are so freaking talented for girls, girls who are even younger than us. But like wow, Eden is really good at rapping. I mean she surprises me more and more everyday.

Ashton looked at BreAuna the whole time when they were signing Bang Dem Sticks. I'm pretty sure BreAuna choose that song on purpose because of him.

Eden is so gorgeous on stage. Shes like an angel. Seriously, inside and out. Her voice is angelic and her looks are to. Its just not that hard to stare at her.

I started to clap for her and she looked around and smiled lightly, making my heart flutter. She looked away and waved. She got off stage and they did a group hug.

We all walked to sit and watch the rest of the bands to play.

"Okay folks and the band who gets to go home is..." Marcy says.

"Cabin 2..." She said the band name who's going home. Eden's and my band did a sigh in relief.

"Okay bands, like this week, next week you have to choose a cover to do and write your own song, no slacking or you're out of here," Marcy announces. We all went back into our cabins and pretty much rested.
