'Oh good day!', y/n thinks and strolling around the staged arena a little more. She takes a deep breath putting on a smile on her face. Several emotions erupted in the pit of her stomach. Old and new; good and bad. 'This is the last. It's been quite a journey in this university.' She chuckles to herself.
Life took a great turn for her, in this phase. She met the love of her life. Parted too but, all the good memories remained in the mysterious air. The worse half were surprisingly insignificant. A part of her wanted Him back afterwards; yet he is not hers to choose, not her right place to do so.
It is good though. As long as she has a copy of their happy journal at the back of her head.
"Y/n?", a certain voice softly prolongs from behind.
"Tae"
"What are you doing here?" The blunette mirrors the smile y/n has, surveying the decorations for the graduation ceremony.
"Can't believe four years flew by in a snap of fingers..."
Y/n rubs her arms in a swift movement to keep the wind from spiking goosebumps on it's wake. It is until she meets those golden brown orbs that she was probably yearning to see. Park Jimin. Days had passed since they last saw each other.
Never once did they dare to look at the other. Confined in a particular horizon, ending right away when the two met their specific someone.
A wave crosses her, sending shivers down her spine. Y/n is sure this was not because of the weather. "Jiminie here", Taehyung calls out noticing the silence that fell between the two. No it is not a bad silence, this is the moment when one should consider 'silence is gold'.
"Since you'll be leaving later, we might not see each other in the fuss. You have been a great friend." Though it is being said to Taehyung, the message is received by the right end. Jimin hugs him and turns to y/n.
Neither of them said a word nor their eyes met dawdling anywhere and everywhere except the one in front. "Guys I still have some things to be packed." Taehyung lies, running right after.
Jimin was about to open his mouth but instead his voice gets replaced by the brunette's, "walk with me?" He is at ease that it is y/n who speaks first. They walk silently, side by side, towards the lake where they shared the most of their important and lovely memories.
Confession to one another. Their first kiss.
"So you will be off to Japan today." The blonde wanted it to be a question but it was more like a reminder. Reminder that she will be gone and he has to get used to that.
Get used to waking up to anything but y/n; her raw cuteness; hints of haughtiness; her scrunching nose when she smiles; or her name even. Y/n nods softly, humming along.
"Good for you...", Jimin smiles.
Both of them look at the ground, sadness filling a corner of them. However, those feelings are kept at the bay for the time being.
"I'm sorry for being such a jerk lately. Well I was since the beginning but that's not the point. I want you to know I am deeply sorry." Finally raising his head up, peering at the beautiful face in front of him. The face he did not cherish like he should have. Now, it is out of his league to even wish for it.
"It's fine. I only have good memories stored for winter." Y/n jokes, lighting up the mood. "You remember our first kiss here?" She stares at the other with a newfound sparkle in her eyes. The same winter blush peppered around her cheeks.
"Mhm'', Jimin nods, holding all his urges back when the sun is shamelessly kissing her. "It's still fresh. Those feelings. The excitement, nervous butterflies, pounding heartbeats. Warmth of your lips..." Y/n is too lost in her thoughts to discern the words that is slipping off her tongue.
"Y/n?" Jimin stares at her as she faces him, looking at him as if awestricken. "Can I kiss you for the last time?" Nervousness coursed through every fibre of his lost cells.
"Please..."
With that they connect their lips. It is the renewal of their first kiss, with much passion, much sincerity. More longing. For each other, for more time. Only if it could turn back time.
It was perfect, his lips against y/n's. Moving in a rhythm they failed to rhyme in these four years. But finally after years of suffering, living in this agony— it was worth it.
Jimin pops off her lips, admiring it's subtle redness. Y/n instantly wraps her arms around his waist, solacing herself with the comfort and the warmth, he provided her. "I always loved you." She whispers, melting into his touch. A tear trickles down her cheek but it is not important at the moment. All that matters is basking the warmth she will never experience in near future.
"No matter who I am with—"
"I will love you too..." Jimin utters, feeling a big piece of burden getting rid off his shoulders.

"Tae where are you?" Y/n gaits around at the airport. People are rushing into the plane but Taehyung? Fuck, there is no sign of Kim Taehyung. If she misses this flight, way to make a first impression on the people at the company there.
She could have called him but well you see the forgetful ass she has, it is obvious she can always forget to charge her phone? It is not a prediction but what actually happened.
"Damn it Tae, I hope you make it before the flight takes off." Thinking if all the positives she could, y/n gives her luggage to be loaded.
"Excuse me ma'am, please get in. It's about time." The brunette gives up and nodded. "Y/n!" A vibrant blue hair at a distance pricks her eyes. She waves at him like a crazy.
Taehyung breathlessly runs in the brunette's direction, squeezing through the crowd. "Y/n-" He huffed, crouching a bit. The girl raised her eyebrows when she examined him. A huffing Taehyung and no baggage?
"Kim Taehyung, where are your bags?"
"About that, y/n I have to tell you something." The frown on Taehyung's face replicates itself on the girl's forehead. "Tae—?" "I'm sorry y/n I can't go to Japan with you." He finally says. Worry shadows on her face. Her lips tremble to form coherent words but nothing comes out.
She feela the world spinning faster than greased lighting. "But what about yo- your promise?" Merely in a whisper, y/n says something. At that, he smiles smugly. Much to the other's confusion, she could even question it. "Y/n I know but—"
"He will know better."
"What the— Jimin?" Y/n deadpans. For a moment, all of this appears as dream. What on earth is even going on? "Y/n, I talked Jimin into this. Guys you are so perfectly made for each like, both dumb heads in love, ugh. Anyways, here's my goodbye present." Taehyung chuckles and nudges the blonde closer to y/n.
"Hi", Jimin says, their nose brushing against each others. "Hi..." y/n blushes at the proximity, breathing the same air. Taehyung on the other hand rolls his eyes. "Geez you're worse than teenagers. Jimin kiss her already, be the gross lovey dovey couple–"
Y/n glares at him, pursing her lips. "fine I'm leaving. Bye guys." He cheerfully bids them and is off.
"Y/n— gosh I can't believe, all of this is real!" Jimin exclaimed, pulling her tiny waist towards him. "I love you sweetheart" Jimin, soon smashes his lips on hers. His rapid heartbeat did not go unheard. Blood rushes all over his body, resembling a cherry.
Y/n feels the other smiling against her lips, smoothing on them. With the firecrackers doing it's work in her tummy, she pulls back. "I love you too Chim!"
