Valentines dance Part 1

Normal Monday as always it's such a drag to get up! Anyway I got up and since I was so lazy. I wore my joggers and my Nike free runs it would be easier for me to change for gym. I ate some cinnamon toast crunch and and Orange for breakfast. Finally I got to school and went to my first class we had new seats for Math I didn't have a bad seat I had the "WORST"! I sat by Chris (Mikey's best friend) and also this girl that always smells like onions her name was Jena. Anyway I sat down and I began to take notes on linear equation Wich I hate! Chris just started at me the whole entire time I took notes I could see him from the corner of my eye. I looked back at him and he smiled I kind of smiled just to be nice and not make it awkward. After I finished my notes I sat there and my teacher handed out some worksheets I had to do with a partner next to me. I was put with Chris Cause Jenna had to leave to the office. Well I wasn't nervous or scared but I had butterfly's in my stomach cause I was going to talk to Chris. We put our desks together and he said "so umm want to split up the problems I'll do 2 and 3 and you can do 1 and 4" I said sure I was on the middle of the question when Chris says "hey can I ask you something?" I said "ahhh sure?!" I didn't know what to expect at that point he told me "your cute" I blushed kind of I had no idea what to say at all. I stayed silent for like 3 seconds it was awkward at that point. But I needed to be brave and I said "oh thanks" I kept finishing my problem and he kept staring at me i knew he was going to say something more I could tell that he could not get it out of his mouth. I felt bad I know boys struggle talking to girls and especially when there talking to a cute girl or a crush. So I said I'm finished with problem #1..... he later said "hey give me your number please? Maybe we can chill or something your really cute and chill to me your smart,stylish and funny." Wow I said to myself no boy has ever said this to me so I decided to give him my number. After class was over I texted Nellie to meet me up in the bathroom I needed to tell her what just happened. She came I told her she didn't have anything to say she barley paid attention to what I was saying all she was doing is putting on some foundation in the mirror the whole time ugh waste of my learning time. I got threw the whole day and I just had last period wich was gym and the last time I went was when I hit Sophia I wonder how she would look at me during all my classes she made no eye contact with me. It was a good sign for me we split up into groups again and this time I was playing against her team no one even passed the ball to me. "Whatever" I said to my self class ended and i Walked home I heard some one behind me running but I kept waking and then someone tapped me on the shoulder. I thought it was Nellie or maybe even Mikey. But this time it was Chris he had twelve dozen roses in his hand and some heart chocolates in the other. He said "Carolyn will you be me date to the Valentine's Day dance?" Wow!!!❤️
