Summer night part 1

I can't believe it's been 1 month already since school ended. I still haven't done anything fun this summer. I really was planning to throw a party at my house or something since my family was going to be out of state for a week. For me to throw a party i would totally need lots of help. I've never done something so bad like that. I told Nellie the idea she told me she would help me with anything she could. I thought that was great but I knew I would also need help planning it and buying a bunch of stuff for the party. My parents said they would leave me $500 for food or anything I needed. I could use that money for the food for the party! As the days passed the day arrived where my family would leave. I was kind of scared that I would be home alone at times at night. But anyway I had pretty much freedom to go anywhere I wanted whenever. After my family left to the airport and said "bye" to me I quickly called Nellie to come over and start helping me plan this party if we really wanted this to happen. She came very quickly we decided to invite everyone from the High School. So we decided the party would be Saturday at 8PM. We created the invitation on Facebook and invited the whole school. I knew this wouldn't turn out bad because not even 30 people would show up. I thought to myself since we aren't popular and not the whole school knows us. After we finished that up we didn't know what kind of food and drinks would be best for a party like the amount to purchase. So in total for the whole school there's 1,500 students crazy right?! There's no way even half of the students will show up. Nellie laughed when I said that and she said "you will have the time of your life" I really hope I do cause this better be something worth for getting into trouble. Nellie wanted to start grocery shopping for all the food and drinks the party was only 3 days away. Nellie's mom told us to the grocery store and when we got there I toke out the list we made. For the main food we would order some pizza so we still couldn't waste all the $500 we at least had to save $200. After we were finished we bought lots of stuff drinks were just pretty much red bulls, sodas and water. For the food we got chips, ice cream and cupcakes....etc. In total we spent $200 and that still left us with $300. I still didn't know what to use that extra $100 on since we're going to use the other money for the pizza. As we loaded all the food into the car Nellie's mom asked why we bought so much food and drinks. Before Nellie could answer I said "ohh cause we are having a sleepover with a bunch of friends at my house this weekend and we always we get hungry" She said oh that sounds "great" Nellie just turned around and looked at me. We got to my house and unpacked everything it was already late 7:50pm and I still haven't decided what to get with the extra money. So I watched some Netflix and thought hmm I could totally use it for an outfit for the party I can buy anything I want with that $100. So I texted Nellie again and told her my idea she thought it was great. The next day came and there was only 2 days left before the party I went to the mall and there was just so many choices of outfits to pick this time cause I had enough money. I went into Pacsun and I ended up buying a random shirt. The shirt was black plain and short sleeve. I knew that the shirt would look cute with these shorts I had at my house that I never wore. I got home and I tried on my outfit I thought it looked really cute now I couldn't wait to wear it! After i heard a knock on the door and of course it was Nellie. She asked if she could sleepover I was glad she asked because I hate sleeping in my house alone. We stayed up till like 3am just watching Netflix. That morning we woke up like at 11 we had to start setting up because the next day was the party. We started by setting up some tables in my backyard and chairs. It toke us about one hour to finish everything to set up. And also made sure that we had everything and we placed the order for the pizza we ordered 15 pizzas all kinds of different toppings. As the day went by pretty fast and it was already night I was starting to feel kind of nervous cause I mean what if I get into trouble for this. I had a lot of doubts about this but I knew that I could not back out about this it was already to late too. But I mean like I said I knew that not even 30 people are coming to my house and if more than that amount come I would be very surprised. That night I couldn't sleep at all just thinking about the party I also didn't know if Mikey was going to come he said he wasn't sure if he could come. But I really want him to come cause he always makes party's fun.
I woke up the next day feeling so tired cause I did not get any sleep. I ate some cereal my favorite kind was coca pebbles the chocolate kind. Also Nellie was going to get some Starbucks for me and I hope I can get some energy out of that because I had a long day ahead of me. Nellie finally got to my house with the drinks. When she gave me my drink she said she had great news for the party I couldn't think of what Nellie was up too. She said " I got a DJ for the party!" I said "what? Why would you need one if only 30 people will show up? And how did you get that amount of money?" She said stood there and said "I got my ways" I was kind of exited for the DJ to come now. It was 7:32pm and I started to get ready and I put on my favorite outfit that I've been waiting to wear. I put my hair in a high up ponytail. And it was finally 8pm! Now we just waited for the guest to arrive!
