Mikey my new friend?

As we ran outside the Maine entrance I heard some one running behind me and I turn around it was my Prince Mikey he gave me his number! He told me we should hang out some other time he thought I was cool! I thought it was the best day of my life. As we walked out Nellie touched my shoulder and told me to not "listen to him his girlfriend is just going to get jealous of u" I didn't care what she really said I got home and I went threw my contacts and I added him as "the Bae mikey" and I didn't know if to text him or not so I decided to start typing "hi Mikey it's me Carolyn from the mall this is my number and it was nice talking to you at the mall" I didn't know if to press send or not I put my finger over the send button and I clicked it at the second I kind of regret doing that but I knew it was right! *****************************
Saturday Morning a bright 70 degree I looked at my phone and guess what? No message back from Mikey many things went threw my mind what if he thought I was weird? The hours went by still no TEXT!💔 Sunday finally approached and I was getting ready for bed I thought to my self what will I say to him at school when I see him? Will he say something to me?
That night I think I cried my self to sleep!
MONDAY
Today I woke up and I looked out my window it was poring how could I get to school even though school is a couple blocks down i would be soaked once I got to school. Well I got dressed did my Morning school routine I went outside and I started to walk a car from the back honked at me it was Nellie she offered me a ride of course I said yes! We got to school and me and Nellie walked past Mikey and Sophia they were at there lockers looking at each other I toke a deep breath and just moved on. Nellie asked me what was wrong (I couldn't say that I texted him she told me it was a bad idea) I said no Nothing. We got to our class and my teacher told the whole class to stand up and move to the side he said "were changing seats" my stomach dropped what if I sat with Sophia again many things are going threw my mind. I got called to sit down and since it was in boy girl order Mikey sat by me and this kid named Jason. I smiled at Mikey he did a somewhat of a smile and I was kind of happy cause Sophia was so far away from Mikey she sat all the way in the corner of the room. After class I was putting my books in my locker when Mikey came up and said "hey let's go see a movie!"
