That little girl is gone
There was a time when I viewed the world in a light manner
I wound smile, twirl around in the rain as if the cold does not matter
I would pick up the beautiful flowers and tuck them behind my ear
I would reach out for the stars, pretending I can actually have them nearBut that little girl is gone
I used to lie awake and think that tomorrow would be a brighter morning
I would move around during the day, thinking that later would be a peaceful evening
I would strive to put everything in my head and and bring home a gold bead
But the more shine I bring home, the more pain it gave me insteadSo that little girl is done
I mean come to think of it, the more honnor you receive, the less they believe
That you're a little girl and you also need their comfort and warmth they can give
Why's that they think, you little one is superior?
When you yourself has never really been sure?Little girl what actually have you done
You gave them what they asked for,but did they appreciate it?
You gave them all the glow they want to show, but did they give back even a little bit?
So know I understood, that I was young back then
And I know I don't say this oftenBut that little girl is gone
You killed her! Pulled out her heart and left her eyes wide open
You left her on the side waiting for her corpse to finally rotten
But you didn't see this coming
She's still standing but not anymore breakingNow this little girl is done
She's braver but heartless
She's prettier but worthless
And you tried to judge her and reprimand her
But be careful, that one will never affect her
