I guess my prayers did come true
And now you can freely tell her "I love you"
And it made a tear roll down my cheek
Seeing what I saw rid me of the ability to speak
It was like fairy tale, the way you fell
And the happiness in your eyes is true, that's what I can tell
The way you smiled and gazed at her put me on a spell
It got me closing my eyes and wishing on a well
I hope that you'd hold her tightly for a long time
And I hope now I can see that gleam in your eyes everytime
I hope now you would not put yourself down anymore
Cause someone's there now and opened your heart's door
I smiled painfully but I am smiling sincerely
And I choose these words very carefully
Although I know this would not reach you really
Baby I'm happy for you and I know I am greatly
For a heart that loves, is a heart that bleeds
And I guess the truth is what my heart needs
To heal wound that was opened
I am so thankful to me this happened
Cause now I know what it's like to be truly happy
And I'll accept this defeat and sit down quietly
Cause my heart is still not sleepy
It still beats for you and admire you from afar, longingly
