The dancer was used to having an audience and he had predicted the whispers when he arrived on campus the following morning, with Tae in his car. Jungkook rolled his eyes at some who were very obviously talking about him but Tae looked unsettled. He closed his car door and looked across at the blonde whose eyes were on the floor and his heart ached, once again feeling his protective side rear its head.

Tae knew people were looking and whispering, he knew they were probably going to start rumours and that they would probably wonder what on earth a guy like Jungkook was doing with him. The whispers and gossip didn't bother him, he was used to his reputation as a geek, but he didn't like it. He also couldn't help but wonder how Jungkook would handle it and whether he would decide that tainting his reputation wasn't worth it.

Jungkook walked around to the passenger side "Hey" he said and Tae lifted his head to look at him. He smiled "don't look at the ground, baby."

Tae half smiled back "Everyone is looking."

"I know. Let's give them something to look at huh?" Jungkook moved forwards slowly, in case this was too much for Tae but when he saw the smallest nod from the blonde he connected their lips in a gentle kiss.

Tae couldn't hide the smile that appeared when Jungkook pulled back and laced their fingers together as they walked to class. Jungkook wasn't very good at feelings or relationships and he was really bad at romance, but he could protect the people that were important to him and he could certainly deal with gossip.

Over the next few days, Tae waited for Jungkook in the car park and they walked in together. Jimin had told Jungkook that everyone was talking about him but that Yoongi was coming around after hearing from Tae, how protective he was. Yoongi had no desire to meet Jungkook properly because he said he would judge him based on how he treated those closest to him, he didn't need to form an opinion on him, himself.

Tae told Yoongi that he would have to meet him some day and Jimin told him that he wanted to double date, so he would have to give in eventually and he knew he was fighting a losing battle. There was a thin line that he was wary of, where his feelings about Jungkook actually started hurting those he cared about, so he would have to relent before that happened, especially as Tae seemed smitten with him and Jimin adored him too.

"Tonight is the night, I'm just going to tell Yoongi that I want to be fucked."

Jimin was sat opposite Jungkook and the other's in the cafe.

"Go for it, Chim. I'm barely out of bed these days" Jay winked at his friend.

"Yes, I hear you! If it's not you and Woseok, it's Lina and Ben! My fucking home is full of porn sounds."

"You're just jealous, Chim." Jungkook added.

"Yes! Yes, I am! Which is why I'm just going to go for it tonight and hopefully Yoon won't be the first person to deny my charms."

"Chim, please don't do that sulky face in order to get fucked." Hobi laughed.

"Yeah, don't do that. You need smouldering not sulky." Jay confirmed.

Jimin frowned, stuck out his bottom lip and crossed his arms over his chest which made everyone laugh.

"Yeah, that really isn't a good look if you want to get fucked." Jungkook said.

"I need new friends." Jimin professed.

"Do you want me to invite Tae over, so you can put your plan into action?" Jungkook offered.

"Wow... what? What do you want this time? More coffee?" Jimin was a little surprised by the offer as he was so used to having to badger or trick Jungkook into doing anything.
