"Y/n! Draco! Come here please," my mum shouted from the bottom of the stairs.
"Are you ready?" I asked Draco supportively.
He nodded. I walked smartly out of my room, and down the stairs towards my mum. She reached an arm out and pulled me into a brief hug. "In the same room we always go to please," she whispered, her voice shaky.
I could tell she was scared. But so was I. Slowly, I walked to the meeting room, and opened the doors. The first person I saw was Snape. He sat strongly near Voldemort, silently. Peering round the corner of the door, I entered the room.
"Ah, y/n Malfoy," Voldemort spoke.
I froze In my tracks. "Hello, my lord," I responded, trying to hide the shaking of my hands.
"Got any information?" He laughed. I assumed it was a joke so I just shook my head, and continued to walk towards my dad. I sat down one seat away from him, and patiently (but nervously) waited for Draco. As soon as he stepped in the room, Voldemort spoke again, "Ah, Draco, Malfoy."
"Hello, my Lord," Draco repeated me.
He paced towards me and sat down next to me. I mouthed, 'it's okay' before turning back towards Voldemort.

An hour or so passed of Voldemort talking about how he wanted to kill Harry Potter, before he finished the meeting. My mum tapped my shoulder, so I did the same to Draco and we sneaked out of the room through the back door, and round towards the back entrance of our house.
"That was terrifying," I laughed.
"Yeah, I know."
Draco tried to smile, but decided not to.
I needed to talk to my dad. I was so annoyed of him trying to control me, but first I had to find him. Draco pushed open the back door and we walked in, seeing the Dark Lord had left, along with all his little assistants. I quietly scoffed at the thought of him. Suddenly, I saw my dad walk passed.
I ran over to him and he forcefully grabbed my shoulder. "Going somewhere?" He asked.
"Yes, actually. To talk to you," I replied, my voice louder than usual when talking to him.
"Don't raise your voice at me. What do you want?"
"I'm sick of you always telling us what to do, especially when the Dark Lord isn't here. It's not like we need protecting. I understand when he is, but when he's not, you don't have to act like he's always watching!" I shouted.
He glared down at me. "I don't do it to protect you, Y/n. I do it because I can." His voice was stern.
"Yes, but you always grab my shoulder forcefully and put me in pain! It's ridiculous! I have a right to walk round this house you know? I'm just as important as everyone else here," I fought back.
"Don't you dare test my patience, young lady."
"And you act like I can't walk to the bathroom, or to see mum. It's not like you guys are 'super important'."
He remained quiet, but continued a strong glare at me.
I stopped for a moment. "And finally, you make it so hard to be happy! It's stupid, we are you children. You're just a sorry excuse for a father," I continued. I knew how to stand my ground when I wanted to, and it wasn't often as I feared my father so much.
"Get out of my house," he firmly spoke. "And when you go back to Hogwarts, don't expect me to allow you here for a holiday. It's not like I want to see you again."
"Gladly," I replied, my tone lowered.
He shoved my shoulder strongly. "Go pack."
He was actually being serious. I turned to run upstairs, and as I did, I bumped into Draco at the top.
"Oh, sorry, Draco," I said, tears forming at the brim of my eyes.
"Y/n, you said you were going to talk to Dad, but I heard yelling. What happened down there?"
"I got kicked out the house. I replied with Gladly, and anyways it's not like any of us want to be here aside from him. But I have to go pack," I responded, my tears now falling down my cheeks.
He looked at me sadly.
"You'll be okay, Draco. Just tell me everything at Hogwarts from now on," I smiled.
I walked into my room, got a suitcase and packed it quickly.

When I walked downstairs, I was greeted with my father, who looked as angry as ever, and my mum who was crying and begging him to let me stay.
"Mum, it's okay, I'll be fine. I wanted to leave anyways. I'm 17, I have better things to do with my life, father," I looked at Lucius, annoyed.
"You've nowhere to go," he laughed.
"Oh yeah, we will see. Anywhere is better than here," I said, turning around and storming out the doors.
I had to find somewhere to stay, anywhere. Maybe I could find Harry and warn him, but he was probably at his Aunt and Uncle's house. The poor kid. I aparated away from my house, but it strangely took me to a path, next to a road.
"Hey, I know this place," I whispered to myself.
I was near Harry's Aunt and Uncle's house, for some reason. I walked through the streets, hoping I would find Harry, or Ron or Hermione. Then I saw Harry. "Harry!" I yelled.
He turned. "Y/n?"
I ran over to him, and smiled at him.
"What are you doing here? Your parents would kill you," he said, concerned.
"Not if they kicked you out," I responded, sadly.
I explained everything that happened and he hugged me. I pulled away. "Listen Harry, I'm a Death Eater," I said.
He gasped, "Really?"
I nodded. "But I don't want to hurt you, I've always wanted to be your friend, granted I'm in a higher year but yeah."
"Prove you aren't here to kill me."
I looked around, then whispered, "Voldemort is definitely back. He was at my house, for a meeting. It's terrifying, and I know I'll get killed or he will use the curciartus curse on me if he knew I was helping you, behind his back, but I don't care."
He smiled. "Okay, I believe you. I am going back to my Uncle's house. Where are you going?"
"Nowhere. I just hoped you would be here."
"Oh, Okay. I'll sneak you in, but if someone comes you have to hide in the cupboard."
"Okay, thanks."
After showing me where his room was on the outside, he ran inside. I walked up to the wall and hid by the window, so no one could see me. "Up here, y/n," Harry whispered from above.
He threw a rope down, and I tied it around my waist. He began to pull me up, until I was high enough to pull myself into the window. I carefully stepped down on the top of his desk, and sat on it. I slid myself off the edge and landed gracefully on the floor. "Thanks again," I said.
"No problem. But, my uncle comes in to check on me in the middle of the night, so we will have to pretend and you'll have to constantly stay hidden if you want this to work, tomorrow we go to Hogwarts."
"Yeah, Okay."
Despite the fact that this neighbourhood was eerie, I was sure that Harry's aunt and uncle and cousin were the worst in the neighbourhood, and I honestly felt sorry for him. All of a sudden, there were heavy footsteps. They padded across the floor of the landing.
"Y/n, hide!" Harry whisper-shouted, pushing me towards his cupboard.
Swiftly, I opened the cupboard and climbed inside. I crouched down and covered myself in his clean clothes.
"You, boy! What's all that noise?" It was his uncle.
"I.. uh, fell," Harry fibbed.
I tried not to laugh, by covering my mouth. I fell a bit forward and the cupboard door slightly opened. Holding my breath, I leant backwards. Harry slammed it shut, and smiled up at his uncle.
"Fix that damn cupboard, boy. And then off to bed!" He said, sharply.
As his heavy footsteps faded away, I fell out the cupboard, giggling. He laughed at me, whilst clambering onto his bed and pulling the covers over himself. "Where do I go?" I asked.
He looked around the room. "Uh, there is a space there," he said, pointing to a small hiding place in the corner of his room. "Lie there and cover yourself with this." He chucked his invisibility cloak at me and I covered myself up.
"Also, I don't recommend going to sleep. I don't ever do it, I practise spells. Anyways, Vernon tends to.. walk in," he explained, turning on his side.
"Okay," I murmured, getting comfy on my side.
