I sat up from my bed in Ginny's room and grabbed a quill and some ink from her school bad. She wouldn't notice. I took it over to the desk in the corner of her room by my bed and sat in front of it. Sighing, I thought about what to write.

Dear Fred,

Why did you have to die? I'm struggling without you, Georgie is so broken and he can't make a joke or pull a prank and he only just about opened the joke shop with my help, Ginny needs her big brother back, Percy is so different now, your mum accidentally calls George Fred and it hurts everyone. Please come back. I need you. I miss you. I love you. Please say you're planking us. Your mum would be annoyed but we would feel so happy, and relieved that you're back with us. George has been dying his hair different vibrant colours because every time he looks in a mirror he sees you and starts to cry, he's been quiet... too quiet for him. He's never ever been like this. When you went, you took the light of the family with you, and left a hole. I'll probably get George to write down how he feels but Freddie please just come home. We all need you. Please. It's been a few months, but none of us feel any better. I miss the way you kissed my lips, the way you held my hand and I just want you to hold me close to your heart again, forever and tell me you're right there. I know you want me to be happy and would want me to move on but how could I ever love anyone else? I choose you. Always. I'll write to you again soon, but this is all for now.
Love from Y/n

"Hey, y/n, what are you doing? I saw you weren't eating and ran away," George said, walking towards me.
"Oh, I just... never mind."
"Y/n, what's wrong?"
"I miss him, Georgie," I started to cry, turning to hug George.
"Me too, y/n," he began to cry as well, before noticing the letter. He picked it up. "What's this?"
"A letter."
"Clearly," he laughed, opening it. He scanned through the letter, tears forming again. "What is this for?"
"I just wanted to write how I feel down," I answered. "You should try it."
Standing up, I handed him the quill and ink. He nodded in agreement, and I walked out of the room to go find Ginny, after taking my letter to Fred and putting it in my pocket.
"Wait, y/n!" George shouted.
"Yes?"
"Thanks so much for everything, I love you," he laughed.
"No problem, Georgie. I love you too."
I walked off and went to carry on looking for Ginny. I knew how much she was struggling so I wanted to take her and Hermione out to get a butterbeer. Like a girly trip.
