5 YEARS LATER

moving on wasn't easy for jeno. but he knows he had to. 5 years felt like a billion years to him because he was actually waiting for the day him and yeeun to meet again, as friends.

nothing more, just as friends.

everyone didn't know how the hell jeno wanted to move on when he, himself, was deeply angry at eunyoung for doing this. but somehow he learned to accept this situation and move on with it. which left his friends speechless because he would never let go easily.

"yooo, you're meeting yeeun today.. right?" jaemin, his best friend for eternity, asked. jeno gave him a look, as a yes. jaemin glance at him, trying to sense if anything was wrong with this best friend of his.

jeno changed a lot after moving on. somehow his new personality shocked most people, including eunyoung. it's not like he changed to be a bad guy, he became a lot nicer to people. he forgive people fast, no matter if the problem is big or small.

eunyoung kept doing mistakes on purpose just to see what he will do. but he didn't even yell or hit her, he just.. smiled. he smiled, like it was nothing. with his sincere smile, eunyoung could feel guilt after.

"i'm mentally prepared. i won't act crazy. besides, i'm bringing haewon" he said while fixing his bed. jaemin immediately turn his head to the other, looking so surprised and confused with his statement.

ever since he moved on, he might have found another lover. which is better than yeeun. jeno has been comparing haewon to yeeun whenever he meets jaemin. his best friend doesn't know if that was a good thing, because all he do is listen to everything he said then he'll change subjects, like he always do.

"why the hell? where's your brain? yeeun is your ex and you're bringing haewon over? you wanna show off now?" jaemin knitted both of his eyebrows after what he said to jeno.

curiously, jeno shakes his head before a smile stick on his face. "i'm not showing off, i just want to prove her that i moved on"

"that's still showing off! what the hell, jeno. i don't recommend you bringing haewon as well. yeeun might attack. even though she healed on her own, your steps are wrong. don't" jaemin's eyes was filled with madness to what his best friend is trying to do.

"you will hold responsibilities if haewon is physically hurt. think fi-"

"haewon forced me to bring her. it's not my fault. i can't say no after how she begged-"

"literally shut the fuck up. i don't like how nice you are. why do you let things flow easily? haewon is your responsibility! if something happens to her it's on you" jeno sighed and took his arms to the air, telling jaemin to stop wasting his voice on saying such thing.

"nana, it will be fine. i will be careful" jeno walks up to jaemin to pat his shoulder as jaemin's frown could be seen on his face.

jeno knocked on his shared bedroom with haewon, hearing a hum from his lover. "haewon, are you done?" he said and took a glance at worried jaemin.

"yes! i'm done. what about you?" haewon opens the door to meet up with jeno who seems ready. the man flicked haewon's forehead, earning a whine from her. "yes, silly. now let's go" he smiles sweetly to his lover before he hold her hand.
