the now black haired girl who used to dye her hair blonde has been waiting to meet her other half after being apart for five years. she is being impatient, waiting for a text from his best friend.

since she was deeply excited, she dolled up herself to look extra good, for him. she can't wait to surprise him to what he missed. a big surprise is waiting for him ever since they drift apart.

due to nervousness, she has been biting her nails all along waiting in the balcony for jaemin's text. she waited for hours, but nothing pops up.

she decides to open up kakaotalk and tap to their private conversation where it was super awkward.

she typed, hoping for an immediate response. jaemin, talking with the person he is, likes to reply late. extra late. you name everything about a dry person in the chats, that will spell out na jaemin.

her mansion, the only cozy place she has ever since she was a fetus, was her only place to wait for jeno. she may have gained money after working hard by herself for these years, but her mansion stays the same.

but loneliness didn't match her. without jeno, it is completely dark. everything in her vision seems so dark, only jeno has the key to it.

it brought a deep frown on yeeun's face after seeing what jaemin had said through the screen. it can't be, he promised he'd meet me. her train of thoughts starts to appearing, very fast that it made her fell to the marbled floor.

she let out a scoff, overthinking a lot of things and her eyes sparkled with tears. overthinking wasn't her favorite. it ruined her. it's the reason why she always has panic attacks in the middle of the night, crying alone and imagining jeno hugging her until she could completely calm down.

5 years drifting is already torturing her. without jeno being there, it made things harder for her to do. imagining was her only power back then. imagining his comfort, everything related to him.

she was so in love with this man until she forgot she has other responsibilities to do.

"yeeun! are you okay?" her friend who visits her daily, kwon eunbin, rushed to her bedroom to see her as a crying mess in the balcony. eunbin took a blanket that is laying down neatly and put it on yeeun's body as it made contact with the sudden cold air. eunbin rubbed her hands on yeeun's body, giving heat and trying to calm her down.

"he promised.." she whispered between her tears, feeling betrayed.

turns out, jeno panicked.

on the way going to yeeun's mansion, he panicked. he definitely told jaemin to hit the brakes. instead of continuing the journey to her house, jeno wanted to go to eunyoung's, seeking for comfort as he is more comfortable with eunyoung when it's about comforting him.

haewon sometimes has to be patient with what jeno's choices are, even when he wants comfort from eunyoung. jeno is lucky to have a lover like haewon, who respects his choices and is always there through his bad days. everyone may think jeno actually doesn't love her, but deep down he loves her a lot, he just doesn't shows it to public.

"i can't go there.. i.. i'm not ready" he was in a complete mess as he walks around the living room back to back with haewon chasing him as she tried to calm him down. it was a hard task when he only wanted comfort from eunyoung, but no matter how hard it is, she kept trying.

"jeno, sit down" haewon talked nicely, holding his both palms with eyes looking straight to his scared eyes. "i can't! i'm meeting her and-"

"jeno! take a deep breath. we're here trying to make you feel at ease. breathe slowly" eunyoung told as she walk to jeno. he remained silence as he look down, trying to figure out what should he do.

then, jaemin's phone rang. it was a message from yeeun and he didn't bother to inform the others as jeno is not in a good condition to face her. so, he answered it by himself without discussing.

he felt sorry for yeeun because he knows how long she has been waiting for this day to meet jeno. for all these years, she has been texting jaemin to ask how jeno is doing, but he never told yeeun about haewon.
