"JENO YAAAAAA" the next day, jeno decide to go to eunyoung's house to meet up with jaemin.

sure it was unexpected because jaemin also thought he's dead. he could also be depressed if it weren't for his fucking job, which made him happy because being a prosecutor is his dream job.

jeno turns his head to see his best friend, a happy smile spread through his face, ready to hug jaemin after being apart for years.

"WHAT THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN DOING WITH THAT BRILLIANT MIND OF YOURS?" jaemin suddenly raise his voice but in a playful way. jeno didn't recognize the way he was saying so he thought jaemin is clearly pissed to what he'd done.

"i'm sorry! i just follow my heart and satisfy myself!" he answered shortly with his apologetic look, always hitting jaemin's soft spot.

"we been knew jaemin's still knowing his soft spot" donghyuck, from behind says as the two best friend turn to him with a disturbed look.

he raised his hands playfully with a chuckle. "okay, okay. go ahead and have your moment together. i'll handle yeeun and eunyoung" he said and left the room, trying to see if they fought or anything.

"waddup bro, heard you become a sex doll" jaemin's voice is full of worries as he heard it from donghyuck. jeno can only let out a chuckle at this kind of time because he doesn't know how to explain it anymore.

"that's how it is" he can only said that as jaemin sighs. "you're giving eunyoung an unexpectedly hard time, i don't blame you for that. it's her way of protecting you from yeeun, am i right?" jeno nods without considering them right or wrong, all he want is for this to end and maybe, move on from this relationship.

he knows he'll be mad at eunyoung for parting them, but if this is how it's planned, he can't complain about it. "you can change her mind, you still have time before i inform the court,"

"no jaemin, the world needs to know i'm still alive. i can't keep hidden like this, yeeun will get sued" he says as jaemin sighs.

"there's a chance yeeun might not get sued, as you said she's mentally unstable when you are there, but she has to pay her crimes" jaemin explains.

"please have mercy on her, she can't die. she fully recovered and she finally isn't doing those things again. please nana, she can't die. even if we're parting ways, let the woman live" jaemin, who has been apart with jeno for years, still can recognize every single thing about jeno.

he's worried for yeeun. he wants her to live.

it was shocking to see how many years have they even interact face to face, this interaction made him miss the school days even more.

"i will try to discuss with her defender," jaemin says, a small smile on his face as he stood up to join the others drink tea.

"don't worry, jen," as he turned and give jeno another smile.
