Mei x Yuzu ||One-shots||

The past

A/N: before I start this, I just want to let you guys know that this isn't related to the anime

__Mei's POV__
"Ow ow stop!" I cried out
"Hey! Stop it!" A little girl shouted. I looked up and saw a blonde standing at the end with her friend.
"What are you gonna do?" Mitsuki and the others said.
"Just stop bullying her!" The blonde shouted
"Tch. Fine. But this isn't the end." Mitsuki and the others said as they left.
"Are you alright?" The blonde asked
"Y-yes..." I replied touching a scar that was on my right arm and another scar that was on my face near my left eye.
The girl called for her mother and begged her mother to help me.
The mother picked me up and brought me to her house.

--at the blonde's house--

The mother took some medical things I'm not sure what it was.
"Ouch ouch!" I tried to move but the blonde hugged me and asked me to stop moving.
"Eep!!" I whined
After all that the the mother put a plaster on the scars.
"Where's your mom?" She asked
"I- I don't know.." I replied softly
"Mom! Mom! Can she stay over? Like a sleepover?" The blonde asked
"Sure Yuzu, she could sleep in your room" the mother said
"Yuzu..?" I said
"Yes?" She replies with a soft smile
"Oh uhm.. nothing.." I said
"Oh yeah! What's your name?" She asked
"My name is Mei.."
"That's a cute name!" She said
I smiled softly and got up.
She led me to her room and told me that I could sleep with her in her bed since it's fit for 2 people.

--at night--

I changed into Yuzu's spare PJ's and got into her bed. She smiled softly and hopped in to.
"Goodnight Mei!!" She said as she fell asleep.
"Goodnight Yuzu.." I said softly and laid my head on the pillow and fell asleep.

--the next morning--

"Mei! Wake up!"
I blinked and rubbed my eyes
"Ah you must be Mei? And also if your wondering I'm Ume." Ume said with a smile as she was making some food for us.
Yuzu was clinging onto a certain bunny plushie
"What's that..?"
"Oh! This is the bunny plushie that my father gave me to me before he passed" she said
'shes so young and her father already passed..?'
(I know this part is included in the anime but cmon I'm sure this part might be needed here)

--after a few years--

"Yuzu..." I said softly
"Hmm...?" Yuzu whined as she was woken up by me
"It's time to get up" I said
"I don't wanna..." She said softly under her breath
I let out a soft chuckle got out of bed
"Wah! Don't go!" She whined
"I'm not going anywhere silly" I said
I brushed my nose against hers and got off from her grip and headed off to the kitchen.
"Mmm..." Yuzu followed me

__Yuzu's POV__
I followed Mei to the kitchen and I looked through the fridge and wondered if I should order food instead of cooking.
I decided to cook cause why not?
I made some eggs and bacon for breakfast.
"Mm..this is delicious Yuzu!" Mei said with a smile on her face
I looked at her with sparkles in my eyes
She looked back at me and smiled.

I decided to go out with her today like a date you know?
I wore a hoodie and brought my wireless headphones with me and put them over my neck.
I wore jeans and slipped my phone into the pocket of my jeans. Mei was wearing a skirt and a crop top a little revealing I guess. I lent her my jacket and she wore them I took her hand we headed out.
I brought her to a nearby manga store since I wanted to get some manga for myself
"This store again Yuzu..?" She asked
I nodded and went in looking for new manga to read.

After all that, we went for to get some bubble tea cause it's quite hot today and we need something to quench our thirst.

After that, we went home and I took out my phone and checked that Harumi had sent me some messages

Harumi

Harumi💔😭☁️: oi Yuzu wanna go out today? It's still the after noon 🙄🙌

Yuzu🚶🔫📉: No </3

Harumi💔😭☁️: why not 😔

Yuzu🚶🔫📉: I went out with Mei and my legs are dying

Harumi💔😭☁️: understandable have a great day 🏌️

I bathed myself and changed into some comfortable clothes and sat on the couch to watch some TV.

--At night--

I turned off the TV and switched off the lights in the house and went into my room or should I say Mei's and my room to rest.
I unlocked the door to see Mei reading her book with her glasses on
'god.. she's so cute with heart glasses on.'
I got onto the bed and Mei was startled I let out a soft giggle and told her that it was time to sleep cause it was getting late.
She sighed softly and agreed since it was already 1 am
Damn 1 am
She begged for a goodnight kiss and I agreed to give her a goodnight kiss cause she's my girlfriend/wife
I tuck her in and she warpped her arms around my waist while pulling me close and cuddling close to her.
I smiled and saw that my phone lit up
I reached out for my phone and saw that it was Harumi. I sighed and clicked on the message she sent.

Harumi

Harumi💔😭☁️: oi Yuzu you awake?

Yuzu🚶🔫📉: trying to sleep lmao

Harumi💔😭☁️: oh please sleeping?

Yuzu🚶🔫📉: yes, yes sleeping

Harumi💔😭☁️: alright then, goodnight

Yuzu🚶🔫📉: thank you for giving me a break hon, much appreciated

I put my phone away and hugged Mei and fell asleep.
