Gabriel's POV

Today is my birthday, I have been out of the country for more than a year studying and training to take over the pack from my father. I am excited to be back, I miss the pack life. I heard that my cousin, Mikail was back in our pack, he is like a brother to me; we did everything together when we were little. I just hated the fact that he left us, because he owed his life to the silly daughter of the alpha that saved him. Maybe what happened to her pack was way too much, but it still did one good thing, I am able to get back my cousin and away from their clutches. I still would like to meet her. Maybe toy with her little heart or something, hmm That would be fun, I haven't had gotten any for months, I heard from the other guys that she is smokin’ hot, but it seems a bit of a prune and I heard Mikhail does not leave her side, like a love sick puppy... I still hate that witch because of her hold on my cousin. I made a promise long ago and I never back down on any promise...

At the Party

The party was booming the theme was a beach; some humans from our school were also present. I am Mr. popular still; I had a lot of girls, smiling seductively at me. I would have given them a chance to taste this God Like body, but I have a plan tonight and that is to bed Ms. Goody two shoes Leila Sandulf...

A scent hit me, it was roses and lavender, my wolf was stirring and excited, I ask him what was wrong, but he just kept silent. I saw the most beautiful woman, with curves on all the right places; she has long dark brown hair and wearing a two piece bikini... She was not like other girls who seem confident enough to flirt, she seems a bit shy on what she is wearing, she isn't aware at how other guys eyeing her with lust. My wolf wanted to be near her. So I complied. She is with Raina, the crazy girl, great.

I approached them, and was about to introduced myself, when a guy beat me to her.

"Hi My name's Josh. Just so you know what to scream later “then winks at her suggestively.

I saw her blush with that lame pick up line. I looked at the PUP and glared at him. I said "LEAVE PUP", I did not even use my alpha and the pup scrammed.

"Hey babe, can I steal you for a dance? It's my birthday you know"

"She looked at me with those beautiful brown eyes, and shyly nodded"

I held her waist as we swayed to the music; she fits perfectly in my hands. We kept staring at each other like everyone became a blurred, and it was only me and her. I don't know how many songs went by. Then I heard someone cleared his throat.

I looked at the guy who interrupted us; it was my cousin Mikail, whose eyes are narrowing at me, like I am stealing his mate.

"Leila, can I have this dance" he said.

I blinked twice, and said "Leila? She is Leila?

Sh*t the girl that I loathe all my life is the same girl that I been having this weird feeling for almost the whole night.

Mikail's POV

I came back late finishing some pack business in the nearby town. I quickly change to go to the party. I haven't seen Gabe since I left the pack years ago. I know that he hated me for leaving him, he was like my little brother, it was one of the hardest things to do but I knew I made the right decision. I wanted him to meet Leila; I know if given a chance they can also be friends.

While I was scanning for either Leila or Gabe, I saw JD, one of Gabe's friends.

"Hey man, have you seen Gabe?"

"I saw him dancing with the new chick, they have been dancing forever"

Just look for the woman eyeing daggers on the girl, and same with guys eyeing daggers at Gabe’, it's a funny sight" he chuckles

Before I could ask which new girl he is referring to, he was already being dragged by a girl.

Alright look for those clues, I scanned the dance floor, in the middle of it, like what JD described, there was Gabe, dancing with a gorgeous woman from my view at her back. I just smiled, no wonder he has been hung up with this one chick.

As I approached them, I was going to say Hi and greet Gabe first when I see the face of the woman he is dancing with. They were looking at each other, mesmerized like no one is around. The hell is he doing with my LEILA!

I cleared my throat to get their attention and glared at Gabriel, while asking Leila to dance.

I did not wait for her to answer and grab her from him. She looked a bit taken a back but when she saw it was me, she quickly gave me a hug and nodded.

Leila's POV

I was a bit nervous for this party. I don't know why but it seems something will happen today. I feel a bit shy about the two piece bikini that I am wearing, I wanted to cover up a little but of course Raina refused, and I cannot say no to her ever.

We were chatting when this creepy guy, tried talking to me, good thing that someone save me from that embarrassing situation.

I looked up to one of the most gorgeous guys that I have seen. He has blonde hair tousled to perfection, and he asked me to dance, I just nodded. We dance for hours I think, I cannot recall how long, we were just staring at each others, it's like I am lost looking at those blue orbs. I faintly heard someone asking me for dance. It seems like I was in a daze.

I turned and saw Mikhail I quickly jump and hug him, I missed him, and he has been gone for 2 days.

I then heard him say

"I miss you too Lei, so what about that dance"

I nodded, but then I stopped and looked at Gabriel, He also looked at me, but his expression was blank, it seems like he is in deep thought. I wanted to ask him if it was fine, but then he left suddenly not looking back at me. I felt a pang of sadness at that. But I don't know why...
