" Hello everyone I'm surprised you all are here so early". I said to a few of my family members.

" Hey, Dora what's up mama ?" My uncle Dave asked.

" Nothing much I came to drop some donuts off and pick Jada up"

" Oh really ? Well stay awhile with your family".

" What's up Dora ?" Peanut repeated. He knew I heard him the first time.

" Hey" I said in the driest voice I could give someone.

" ight well I better get going. I will see yall later" Have you ever had that feeling where you don't wanna be around someone, but you don't want them to leave either ? Well that's how I felt about peanut.

" Awe baby come give mama a kiss before you go. " My grandmother said holding her arms out so that peanut could hug and kiss her.

" Ight yall I'm out !" He loudly announced to everyone.

" Bye peanut !" They all said back.

" Umm I left my ice tea in the car I'll be right back ". I was lying out my ass, but they didn't need to know that. I quickly rushed out of the family room trying to catch up to peanut. I caught him right before he was about to shut his door to his car.
" Peanut wait ! " I yelled after him.

" What's up Dora?" He asked.

" Umm... I just wanted to know why came by here ?" I sounded so stupid, but I didn't know what else to say to him.

" What chu mean Dora ? You may not want me back, but everybody else shows me love. I didn't know I couldn't be around".

" Don't be a smart ass, I was just asking it's not like you been coming around".

" You a trip you know that ?" He smiled.

" How so ? "

" You miss me, you just don't know how to accept me back. "

" Nigga what ? You wish." that was my only comeback.

He laughed " look Dora I don't have time for the childish games I gotta go. call me later if you wanna talk. " And with that said he got in his car and pulled off.How rude was that?

As soon as peanut left so did I. Saying my good byes to my family and gathering my daughters overnight bag we was out like the wind. I was salty with peanut he never been the type to get annoyed with me, so for him to react like that caught me off Guard a little bit. When jada and I got home I made her take another shower, and change her clothes, not saying that my grandmother did a horrible job dressing her I just like for her to look a certain way while in public. I decided that we would catch a movie to bond for a little while.
" mommy where is my daddy ? " she curiously asked.

" umm.... Here I'll let you call him" I was not about to tell her that her father had a butch fit and left. He can do it himself.
I dialed his number before giving her the phone. She waited for him to pick up before talking.

" hey, dad where are you ?" She asked. I couldn't hear what he was saying.

" we at home we are leaving though". She responded to what ever he said.

" we our going-" I snatched the phone out of her hand.

" don't question my daughter about our whereabouts if you cared you would still be here, but since your not stay where you at." I hung up on him, causing him to call back three more times.

" You ready to go baby ? " I asked.
"Yes mama I'm ready "

( I know it was quick but I will be updating again on Friday at 6pm stay tuned and tell me what you think. Keep me motivated with this story lol)
