- Can you do it? - Splinter asked me and put his hand on my arm.

- Yeah. - I looked at my friend and then back at the three katanas lying in front of me.

- Then be the leader for the last time. - He handed me my mask and left. I took a couple of deep breaths and focused on the ceremony.

- Today we have lost three heroes of this country, three members of FOXs. They sacrificed their lives for us to keep living. - "sacrificed my foot" I thought while listening to the president's talk. - In order to commemorate their extraordinary deeds, the families agreed to reveal their identity while doing so, the last FOX will honor their lives. - I pulled myself together and walked down to the graves. People were looking, talking, conspiring but I had to stay focused, for them as their leader. - Thank you Donatello Park, for serving as a purple fox and giving your life for good. - I put Don's katana on his coffin. As I did so, a purple fox came out of the sword and rose up. People were charmed by this but my heart was breaking. - Thank you Raphael Yung, for serving as a red fox and giving your life for good. - the same thing happened with his sword, and every time I did so I felt weaker. - And last but currently not least. Thank you Michelangelo Jeon, for serving as an orange fox and giving your life for good. - I could barely stand when I gave away Mikey's sword. They were dead. All three of them. - We owe you everything, your sacrifice and your dedication to the cause. The country will be in mourning but you will never be forgotten. - I lost the only thing in my life that was good. The hardest part of losing someone, isn't having to say goodbye, but rather learning to live without them. Always trying to fill the void, the emptiness that's left inside your heart when they go. After the ceremony I stayed there even after they buried the coffins. Splinter, he came to me and sat on the bench to my left. Looking ahead, I asked him a question.

- Do you think foxes are still protecting them?

- I think that they left with them.

- Lora, I know it isn't the time, but there will never be. You have six tales left, will you use them again.

- Never. I will never break them myself. I don't want any of this. People lost all four foxes today.

- What do you mean?

- Even if I can't renounce the kitsune, I will never use its powers. But only after I get my revenge. - I got up and left being sure of my words.

4 years after...

I got up early in the morning awakened by the doorbell.

- Who dares to wake me up so early in the morning. - I said to myself going to the monitor from the intercom. - What? - I said. I snapped back awake when I heard the voice of the person on the other side.

- Is this Loraine Kim? - A young boy with yellow curly hair stood outside my gate. - What the fuck? - I said to myself and walked outside. I poked my head through the gate and saw a boy not much shorter than me. He was wearing a green sweatshirt obviously pulled over his school uniform. He looked at me as if I were a ghost. - Kid, are you lost? - I hesitated answering.

- Oh my gosh it is you! - He shouted.

- I'm Loraine. Do you need something?

- You're the blue fox. - What the fuck. I was stumped. I didn't know what to do.

- So you're insane. Please step away from my property or I will call the police. - I locked the gate and went back into the house and locked the door. As I walked away from the door I heard something banging in the kitchen. I reached for my umbrella and ran into the room. The kid came in through my window. - Hey kid! - I yelled and grabbed him by the hood as he ran into the living room.
