I woke up being with my back to Liam, last night was for real. Unfortunately the whole of yesterday turned out to be true when I opened my eyes. I turned to face the awakening guy. He smiled at me stretching, but my face wasn't as pleased as his. I snuggled into him hiding my face.

- Good morning.

- Hi.

- Is everything okay? You don't regret yesterday, do you?

- No. It was sincere.

- I thought so, and yet something's bothering you. Tell me what's going on.

- Nothing.

- Lora, I've known you too long to keep things from me.

- It's nothing. I just need to take a little break from the transformation and all that.

- Are you sick? I thought foxes didn't get sick.

- No. It has to do with losing your tails.

- But you're gonna be okay?

- Yes.

- Lora, look at me when we're talking. - I looked him in the eyes seeing his worry, if he only knew that he should be. But I couldn't tell him, not now, not at this moment, thank god that I was a great lier.

- I'll be fine. - he then smiled and kissed my forehead.

- You know that we only have like four days left here.

- Time flies fast.

- Yes it does. - He jumped out of the bed and started dressing.

- Are you going somewhere?

- Training, I need to start acting like a deputy chief. You need to rest and I will take care of them.

I watched him leave with a big smile on his face. As soon as I heard all of them left the building I got up and went to the temple. The council sat in the main hall, including my sensei.

- What should we do with her?

- It should have been dealt with 10 years ago. I told you this would happen and now we're all going to die. There was no need to give this task to someone like Splinter, he always had to screw something up.

- Mayumi, nothing is lost yet.

- Yes, Splinter is right. We have to find the monks.

- There's no time for that! - I stood behind the column listening to the masters arguing with each other, the seriousness of the situation killed me even more. Mayumi, the fox of freedom floated even more. - We should end the silver fox's life right away, even if there's a small chance of it breaking free.

- Mayumi. - Splinter got into her words.

- The girl must die.

- We should defend the people.

- She stopped being one ten years ago. - Mayumi nervously measured towards the exit, she noticed me, I knew it well. She had always had a problem with me, and I with her. I wasn't surprised by her opinion but still, in a way, she was right. I stepped out from behind the column and faced the council.

- So what's the plan? Cut my head off or do you have other ways to kill a 25-year-old?

- Loraine, this is not funny.

- I know it's not funny, and it's not just my life at stake, but I'd rather keep living.

- We'll find the monks.
