Finally, I got the evidence I wanted and figured out the truth. Now....time for a little shopping before I go back to U.A

(A/N Hmmmmm evidence...... any guesses and what kind of shop could it be 🤡...)

Back at the dormitory with Deku.

Deku's P.O.V

"I think that should be all of it. Where do you want me to lay your gifts Midoriya?" Todoroki asked Deku as they entered his room.

I looked around where would be a good spot to put them for now. "Just lay them on top of my desk ill organize them later." Todoroki did so and sat on the chair next to the desk. I sat on my bed and asked "so what was it that you wanted to tell me." I looked at him and he seemed hesitant

"Remember when I broke up with you on Valentine's day?" I felt a short sting in my heart but replied, "yes, I do."

He was quiet for a couple of seconds then started to speak again. "well that's what I wanted to talk to you about. the reason behind and why I didn't tell you."

Yeah, I've been wanting that explanation behind that for a long time.

I saw him playing with his fingers a bit and looked down on the floor. It looked like he was trying to collect his thoughts and began to speak. "I told my father we were dating and he told me 'it's only a short crush or rather you just want to be close to that person.' I told myself that it wasn't true but when it came to Valentine's day I felt my heart sank because it was only a short crush. I didn't want to accept the fact that my dad was right and I was really confused. So when you approached me I felt conflicted about my situation and couldn't express it in a calm manner. So that's why I suddenly lashed out at you. In the end, I only ended up hurting you and couldn't be in your aid when your home burned. I'm sorry Midoriya it took me this long to apologize. I'm still not good at expressing my emotions directly." He looked up at me with a small smile.

"I'm still trying to figure things out at the moment but in the end, I guess I just wanted somebody close to me. Not in a relationship way." he waved his hands at me, "but in an 'I want a close friend to rely on'. I know things cant go back to how things were before but could I at least be your friend?"

"No." I responded. "eh...." he said

"just kidding of course I forgive you." I chucked while saying the phrase. "just make sure to tell me what's going on sooner please." He nodded and then I heard a knock on the door and heard someone come in.

~Kacchan entered enters the room with his backpack and a small paper bag~

"Guess that's my cue to leave," Todoroki said and got up from the chair and left the room. "the hell you guys talk about?" he asked me. "he was telling me the reason why he broke up with me."

"Hmnp... guess it can't be helped that you'd have people in your dorm." (A/N look at him being mature for once) he gave me a small peck on my forehead and his hand traveled to the back of my ear stroking my hair for a bit. "you're trying to act tough but I can tell you're jealous." he looked away "idiot don't be spouting lies."

"Anyways I also have something you would like to know the truth behind," he said and pulled out a folder and laid it on the bed. "I found out the truth and turns out it wasn't my fault."

What is he talking about?

hey. How you doing. Let's get one thing straight. I really need to finish this book. Like this book will turn 4 years old this year. I don't do promises for one reason but ill do my best to continue. Like I've mentioned previously I am a college student so it'll be a bit tough but not impossible.
