Chapter eight

Carmen's pov
We stayed at the ice cream place for about an hour we were having such a good time that we didn't realize we were there that long.
"Alright guys I think it's time we leave, the lady at the counter is giving us dirty looks. we must be too loud." I laughed.
"Yeah, we probably should work on our project some more." Aaron added.
"I'm gonna see if Maddison wants to hang out." Shawn smiled.
"Awe I don't have plans." Matt pouted.
"If you want, you can come with Aaron and I, you won't be in the way." I invited Matt.
"You're the best." Matt engulfed me in a hug.
"Okay too much touching I don't like it." I pushed him off of me.
We cleaned out mess and started to walk together, mainly because shawn and I were neighbors and the other two were coming to my house.
"see you guys later!" Shawn yelled while letting himself in his gate.
We all just waved in response. I see my moms car parked in the drive way.
"just to warn you, my moms home so don't be too loud, she gets headaches sometimes." I told the two boys before opening the door.
"Hi sweetie pie! Oh you have company, nice to meet you I'm Carmen's mom you can call me mom or miss Faye withers fine." she said as she hugged both boys.
