Give Me Love (An Aaron Carpenter story)

Chapter six

I was walking home alone because Shawn had to work right after school. He told me he's saving up to buy a new guitar. All of a sudden I felt a presence behind me, I heard their footsteps speeding up to catch up to me. I turn around to see Aaron.
"Uh hey" he laughs shakily.
"What do you want Aaron," I groaned.
"I-I just w-wanted to apologize" he sighed.
"Oh, I didn't mean to be rude I'm just tired of arrogant people," I apologized.
"I'm sorry, really sorry what Matt did was awful, what I did was awful, I encouraged him to do it and I feel really bad." he said.
"It's okay but I do have a question." I said.
"Shoot!" he smiled.
"Do you want to come over and work on the project?" I asked.
"Now?" he questioned.
"Yeah! sure" he said quickly.
"Uh I guess I can order pizza Shawn should be getting home soon I'll text him to come over" I told Aaron.
"Sounds good." he said.
We reached my house, "here we are, oh and before we go in don't mind the decorations, my mom is really Into fall."
"So is my mom" he smiled.
We walk in and I throw my bag I told him to make himself at home and that I was going upstairs to get my laptop.

Aaron's pov

I feel bad for what we did to Carmen I just didn't expect her to blow up on us.
I pulled out my phone and texted Matt
[ M-Matt
A-Aaron]
A- hey Matt what's up
M- nm just chillen wbu
A- at Carmen's working on the project
M- she let you come over!"l?
A- yeah I apologized for me and for all of us but you need to apologize too...
M- I know man I wasn't thinking but you gotta admit when she went off it was hilarious
A- she looked so flustered and upset but she's got a mouth of a sailor!
M- I don't think the football players swear like that!
A- hey man I gotta go she's coming back
M- okay later.
"Since we didn't listen to the teacher we need to go on his website and get instructions" she said. (idk about you guys but my school has a website and so do the teachers it's weird but helpful)
"That would be the best idea, so I was talking to matt." I said.
She tensed up a bit, "and?"
"He wants to apologize, we should meet for ice cream later you know Shawn you Matt and me" I suggested.
"Uh I guess that sounds okay." she said " I need to call Shawn! I forgot."
"Hey Shawn, come over after your shift Aaron and me are working on the project, and I'm ordering pizza."
Then he replied but I couldn't hear him.
"Yeah we're okay but afterwards we're all meeting matt for ice cream."
"Matt! I thought you hated him!" I heard him this time.
"I do he's just gonna apologize." she said "okay see ya in a few bye!"
"Shawn works?" I ask.
"Yeah he helps out at the guitar shop to get some money to buy a new guitar." she laughed "so what do you like on your pizza"
"Pepperoni." I answer
"Good because that's all I like and same for shawn" she laughed.
