Give Me Love (An Aaron Carpenter story)

Chapter one

Recap: Our teacher Mr. Goodman, lets us pick our seats, I look at Shawn then we look for two open seats. Unfortunately the only open seats are right next to the popular boys. Shawn is kinda friends with them because of Carter but when we sat by them they snickered.

" What's so funny?" I hissed.
They laughed harder.
"Nothing at all." Nash smirked.
"All right class, I'm Mr. Goodman. now if you could, open up your notebooks and write down the things on the board while I pass the syllabus out." Mr. Goodman announced. "In my class you will be doing a lot of group work and projects, I don't think it's fair to do an eight page analysis on plays that you clearly don't care for on your own." I think I'm going to like this teacher I thought to myself. "The only thing, I pick your partners and groups to make sure you actually are working." he stated. A collected groan and mumble came from the class. Most of class he was explaining the rules and talking about the expectations. "now the groups, the most dreaded part." he named a few groups and didn't call Shawn's, the boys, or my name. "and lastly Carmen Faye, Shawn Mendez, and Aaron Carpenter. i turned to Shawn, "At least I've got you." he smiled.
"So the project we are going to be doing for the next month is..." I droned out it okay because I know Shawn's listening. I started to stare at Aaron, I'm head over heels in love with a guy who doesn't even notice me. I'm pulled out of my thoughts by Shawn shaking me. "what were you thinking about?" he asked. I shrug. "So what are we doing?" I question. "You weren't listening either" Shawn whisper yells at me. I shake my head. "Aaron do you know what to do?" I ask. He doesn't even know I'm talking to him, he's on his phone the whole time. "AARON!" Shawn yells a little too loud because the whole class turns to look. "what?" Aaron growled. "this is hopeless." I complain.
