Give Me Love (An Aaron Carpenter story)

Prologue

" Carmen Ryan Faye, get up sweetie, it's your first day of high school!" my mom says as she walks in my room.
"Aw my wittle baby is growing up so big" she cried, "I remember when you were just starting kindergarten." Now she was sitting on the edge of my bed. "You didn't want to get out of the car because you were 'too tired' an-"
"Mom, not to be rude but I need to get ready. Can you tell me on the way to school?" I interrupted. she nodded and walked out of my room. I'll tell you a little about me. I'm fifteen years old, my birthday was June 13th. I have long, brown hair and brown eyes. I have two siblings, Allie my twenty year old sister and Kyle my eighteen year old brother. I'm the baby of the family and I hate it! but Allie is married and Kyle went to college so now it's just me. I wouldn't consider myself popular - nobody would really- but I have a great group of friends, and that's all that matters.

After being on my phone for five minutes I decide to start getting ready. I take a hot shower to relax my nerves. Starting high school is stressful people! I like to use strawberry shampoo because it smells like heaven. I finish my shower and since I have an hour before I have to leave I let it air dry while I pick out my outfit. I picked out a navy blue sweater, a red infinity scarf, my white vans with little anchors on them, and my anchor phone case. oh yeah, I really love cases. I snap my case on and curl my hair. I run down stars seeing I only have twenty more minutes to eat breakfast. I'm not very into wearing makeup, but the girls at my school think it's attractive when they cake it on... not! I look at the clock but before I can read the time my mom says," honey it's 6:45 call sh-"
"Hey Carmen! Hey Mrs. Faye! you guys ready to go?" my best friend and neighbor since birth, Shawn walks in and interrupts my mom.
"Is it everybody interrupt Kelly day?" she jokes. I laugh and Shawn gives her an apologetic smile. "Well we should get going, we don't want to be late!" she smiles.
"Mom it's only 6:50 school doesn't start until 7:30!" I complain.
"Still, we can't risk being stuck in traffic." she scolds.
Shawn an I groan as she hurries us to the car.

She dropped us off at the front doors, she waves, then drives off. "You ready for this?" I ask Shawn. He nods, "you ready?" he questions. I nod. As soon as we walk in Shawn and I are crowded by a group hug. After a few seconds they all let go. My friends, the ones who hugged us, are: Taylor, Jack G, Jack j, Mia, Kaylee, Grace, and Jade. We talk about our hectic mornings until the bell rings telling us to report to first period. Shawn and I have first period together, English. Turns out we have that class with the popular group of boys, Nash, Matt, Cameron, Carter, and the amazingly cute Aaron. if you can't tell I like him, well I do, I have since seventh grade, but why would he like a geek like me?
Our teacher Mr. Goodman, lets us pick our seats, I look at Shawn then we look for two open seats. Unfortunately the only open seats are right next to the popular boys. Shawn is kinda friends with them because of Carter but when we sat by them they snickered.
