The plan was simple, Olivia was going to ask Sirius at diner and when he said yes, I was going to have to find a date before we go to Hogsmeade.

Dinner seemed to be arriving sooner than we thought and Olivia was a ball of nerves. Pacing up and down our dorm.

"What if he says no? What if he laughs in my face. I can't do this. I can't, this was a bad idea I just," I walk over to where she's standing in the room and slap her face and grab her shoulders.

"Get it together woman my gods. Look, if he says anything but yes he's a total idiot because your hot. I'd go on a date with you." She smiles at me and lightly punches my shoulder. Suddenly, the bells for dinner rang and we look at each other. It's game time.

We make our way down to the great hall confidently strutting to the Gryffindor table. Olivia sits next to Sirius and I sit by Lily. I quietly gather my food as I watch Sirius and Olivia interact.

Dinner was almost over just as Olivia spoke, "Sirius, can I talk to you?"

"Yea sure what's up?"

"Oh I just meant- Nevermind um, do you want to get butterbeer with me tomorrow?" She asks fiddling with her hands. Suddenly, James' head pops up from behind Sirius.

"Oh Olivia count me in too!" I slap my forehead. Not James.

"Oh yea, if you guys are going I want to go too."

"Yea I'll come then too."

"Ou ou me!" This was not going as planned.

"Guy, I think Olivia was just asking Sirius and not you weirdos." I pipe in.

"Why would Olivia just ask Sirius? Plus it's the first hogsmeade trip of the year it can't just be the two of them. We'll all go!" James yells excitedly. Olivia looks totally defeated.

Dinner finally ends and I rush back to the dorms to find Olivia. I find her laying on her stomach, face away from the door.

"Olivia, I'm sorry for James, he can't take a hint sometimes. I promise I'll find a way for you two to sneak off somewhere alone." She turns to face me.

"Really? You'd do that?"

"Of course. He's my idiot brother, I need to fix it somehow." She hugs me tightly.

"Thank you, thank you thank you! You're amazing Vera."

"Of course Livvy."

"Ya know, just because I don't have an official date, doesn't mean you don't have too." She looks at me suggestively. I roll my eyes at her.

"There is going to be no dates here for a longgg time." We burst out laughing. I didn't totally hate the idea of going to hogsmeade with someone, it might be better so Olivia won't gravitate to me as much. I just don't know where I would get a date this late. Oh well, I can just fake one. Won't she won't know won't kill her.
