Ayano’s succeeding days basically meant seeing Murasakibara. After the approval of their Chemistry teacher, she started to be his lab partner and study-buddy. And unlike their balding teacher, Murasakibara learned more in the one week she’s been his study-buddy than to the teacher who’s been gritting his teeth over him these past two months. She is able to grab the purple-haired male’s attention and increase it to a solid 30 minutes. She successfully incorporated food in their chemistry lessons. They both notice his improvement and little by little, his test papers returned with passing marks.
And that meant a problem she needs to overcome only to find out another problem at the other end. The basketball team discovered of their ace’s academic progress. Their coach summons Ayano to the faculty room, only to ask a favor of being his tutor. This meant that not only will she tutor him in his Chemistry subject, but for other subjects as well. Plus, all formalities were done by the female coach and she has no option of declining it. The brunette nods her head in defeat.
So, Ayano and Murasakibara goes straight to the library after classes to study for an hour, and then the male is to be fetched by Himuro for practice. This routine has been going on for almost two weeks and this was not ruined even once.
But one day, Ayano catches a glimpse of a familiar head of raven hair peeping at the door. It was odd for him to be there. One– classes is not yet over for the next ten minutes; and two– he doesn’t go by their classroom anymore. He gave Murasakibara his stash of snacks that will last him during their hour-long study session so there should be no problem. It was unless the he got bored and ate them all already, and sent a text message to the raven-haired male to buy him some more.
Ayano nods her head furiously at the thought, convincing herself of the idea. Their teacher for that period exclaimed when she saw the sight.
“It’s so nice to see a student agree with me!” their Japanese History teacher says, her voice evident of her enthusiasm. “Ayano, do you want to add more to this?”
Japanese History was definitely her weakest subject, and she cursed herself for taking it. It was hard to memorize all of those names and eras, and man they were not a simple roll of the tongue. This talk about honor and dying for your honor seemed illogical for the brunette. Also, the teacher is highly-opinionated on the topics, so most of the time, she goes off-course. This leaves the class bored of her. To top it all off, it is a class that happened before dismissal.
She remains seated, looking around for help. She was not listening to her, and neither were they. Now she didn’t know how to share her opinion of something she might have no idea of. She slowly stands up, clears her throat, and takes a sweet five seconds staring at the teacher, hoping that the answer lies on her face.
The sound of the school bell was heard, and Ayano’s body instantly felt relief. The teacher lets her sit down, and everyone was fixing their things for them to go home. After the short reminder of their homework, they were officially dismissed. The teacher immediately picks up her bag and goes outside first – leaving the students to their own devices.
The instant the teacher leaves the room; Himuro comes in, zooming towards Murasakibara. This took the attention of everyone, and then they gave off their own reactions. Ayano approaches the two athletes, her eyes clearly showing her confusion.
“You know, you shouldn’t be zooming in the room just like that,” Ayano scolds, turning towards the raven-haired male.
“I know, but everyone’s already at the gym. They’re waiting for Atsushi,” he responds, ending with an apologetic smile.
