There's a ton of text in bold below, so quick reminder once more: we assume that the words in bold are spoken in English. 'Cause they're Japanese and the KNB manga + KNB Extra Game + KNB novels did this and I wanted to do it, too.
Another quick reminder that this chapter has some Disney in it. Anything Disney is not mine and belongs to the great Walt Disney.
Also, some cool trivia at the bottom Author's Note. If there are some terms/situations that you don't understand, you might find them there! Enjoy!

CHAPTER NINE – Prince
Himuro places a blanket on Ayano's sleeping body. She sobbed for almost hours, while the raven-haired male stayed by her side. He was silent for the entire time, stroking her hair gently, and letting the brunette's soft sobs bounce through the hotel room walls. After a while, her sobs subsided, yet tears would still fall down from her eyes. After a few minutes, she falls asleep in his arms.
Her sleeping face is like the rainbow after the storm. Her face feels peaceful, and she wore a little smile on her face. He bets he'll see that smiling face the next day, and he wants that smile to stay that way. She looks so vulnerable, and Himuro felt obligated to protect her from every evil that comes her way.
He takes one more look on her. He takes in that beautiful, sleeping face; the face of the girl he vowed to protect from now on. A gentle smile creeps his face before he turns off the light, lock and close the door.
It wasn't the day he was expecting for himself. As Himuro felt bloated with all of the snacks and dessert he and Murasakibara tasted during their tour through different new sweet shops, he told the purple-haired giant that he'll split with him for a little while and explore the city on his own. The younger male agrees. They agree on a meeting spot before parting ways.
As he walked around Tokyo, wondering where to spend his day, he stumbles upon a huge gathering of people at the park. Basing on the poster at the entrance, there was a 5 on 5 Streetball Match going on. He also spotted four teenagers who seem to be having trouble.
One of them spotted the raven-haired teen staring at the poster, and immediately approached him. He asked Himuro if he knew how to play basketball, and was relieved when he said yes. He was overjoyed, and then told him that their fifth member ditched them during the last minute, and they needed one more member. Himuro agrees as fast as a snap; for he needed to place all of the cake he's eaten somewhere, and he's been itching to hold onto a basketball since yesterday. The four members jumped for joy.
Not only was this team able to get a guy at the last minute, but they were able to get a guy who is really good at basketball at the last minute. They passed through the qualifiers almost easily, winning against every other team by a landslide. They were impressed mostly when they were able to qualify for the semi-finals. They were against members from the Seiho High men's basketball team, one of the Three Kings of Tokyo. This mysterious man crushed them like twigs with moves that resemble a refined swan dance. Their opponents were literally on their knees at the end of the game.
Himuro, however, did not break a sweat. Despite the harsh rays of the sun, he stayed cool. He didn't let the sun get to him, and he scored almost easily, like it was given to him. Sending a text to Murasakibara on their change of meeting places was the last thing he remembered. The rest of the day was just a breeze that he couldn't bother remembering. It was until he saw his long-lost brother in the crowd.
Kagami Taiga was someone he met when he was in the fourth grade. Himuro met him when they needed a member for their streetball match. After the game, the bright-eyed redhead approaches him, begging him to teach him basketball, to which he agrees. After that, they have been inseparable. They consider each other as brothers, and Himuro even bought them rings as a sign of their brotherhood.
