After the water fight on the ocean, we decided to get dressed and go home. By the time we got to my house, it was nearly 2am. I said goodbye to Iwaizumi and walked up to my door. All the lights were off except the living room ones. When I stepped inside, I went into the living room. My mum was sitting on the sofa, watching something on the TV. 

"Hey mum. Sorry I arrived so late." I said, smiling weakly. 

"It's alright Tooru. So, what did you do at the beach?" She asked, turning her attention on me. 

"Well I watched the sunset and I decided to for some reason go swimming for a bit." I explained, laughing. 

"Only you would swim in the freezing ocean during night. But, were you alone?" She asked, raising an eyebrow. 

"Y-yeah of c-course I was alone!" I stuttered, cheeks glowing red. 

"Tooru I know you better then anyone else. Come on, spill it." She said, taking a drink of her coffee. 

I groaned and leaned on the sofa as I told her everything. Yup. Everything. 

As soon as I finished I looked at her happy expression with a confused look. 

"Why do you look so happy? Shouldn't you be telling me off?" I asked. 

My mum laughed and then responded. 

"Why should I tell you off?" 

"Oh idk, maybe because I kissed Masika's boyfriend a week after they broke up! And also the fact that I've liked him for a while?" I stated. 

"Tooru that isn't a bad thing. Two damaged people trying to heal each other; is love." She said, reaching to me and squeezing my shoulder. 

"S-so you don't think it's wrong?" I asked, in utter disbelief. 

"I do not. I actually think it's lovely. However, you should keep in a secret from Masika for a while." She suggested. 

"Yeah. I'm going upstairs now mum, bye!" I said, yawning. 

"Goodnight." She said, before turning her attention to the TV again. 

I made my way upstairs lazily and when I got to my room, I hoped into the shower. When I was done, I got dressed and got into bed. I tried to go to sleep, but all I could think about was what happened at the beach. However, overthinking and anxiety tormented my head. Does Iwaizumi like me? Maybe he loves me? What do I do if he does? I'm not used to being loved; I  wouldn't know what to do. 

----1 WEEK LATER----

Its been a week since that night at the beach. Iwaizumi has started to come around again, but he doesn't talk to Masika. Me and him have been getting closer, but we aren't official. I think we are both just scared, and we want to see if it will work out or not. 

Right now, I'm packing up a bag with clothes for the holidays. I'm leaving later today. I'm going back to where I used to live for the halloween week break. Iwaizumi is going with me, which is going to be fun. I'm excited to see my old friends, but there are people that I do not wish to see... 

"How's packing going Tooru?" My mum asked, sitting down on my bed. 

"It's going ok. I'm excited to see my friends again." I said, smiling. 

"I know you are dear. Make sure to stay away from...him though." she said, opening my bag wide so I could put in a pair of jeans. 

"I know, don't worry. I hope I don't come across him. If I do, I have Iwaizumi, Suga and the others." I said, giving her a reassuring smile. 

"Yeah, I know. But I'm your mum, I still get worried due to what happened last time." She said, a sad expression passing through her face. " Anyways, how's Suga doing?" 

"He's doing good. He's too worried about Kageyama to even suspect me going over there for the week." I explained, laughing. 

"Kageyama is still oblivious, ain't he?" She asked, smiling. 

"Yup! I'll end up getting them together when I get there." I said. 

"Alright! Well, I'll leave you to your packing." Mum said, before getting up and leaving the room. 

I nodded and went back to packing. I grabbed the last few things: hairbrush, toothbrush, charger, money and headphones and put them into my small backpack. I sighed and looked at the time on my phone. 11:00pm. Iwaizumi is coming at 1:00pm. I'll just chill until he arrives.

Iwaizumi's Pov:

"Iwaizumi, I just put your bag in the car." Mum screamed, from downstairs. 

I checked my phone quickly as I grabbed my backpack. 12:30pm. 

"I'm coming!" I answered, as I closed the door to my room. 

I went downstairs and found my mum by the door. 

"There you are. Come on, lets go." She said, grabbing the house keys. 

I nodded and followed her outside. We got in the car and she started to drive to the Oikawa house. 

"Where are you guys staying during the week? Tooru's friends house?" She asked. 

"We are staying at his aunties house, where he used to live." I answered. 

"Oh! Miamy's house! I miss seeing her." She said, smiling. 

"I'll tell her you miss her then." I said, laughing. 

"Yeah, do that. Giver her my phone number too. Knowing her, she lost it from last time." She stated, laughing. 

"I will." I said, looking outside the window. 

After a few minutes, he big house came into view. We parked behind Tooru's car, where he was busily putting his bag inside. I stepped outside and walked up to him, bringing him into a hug. 

"Oh! Hi Iwa-chan!" He said, smiling. 

I smiled and let go of him as he stepped away from the car. He then turned to my mum. 

"Sawila! My second, mother figure." He greeted, smiling. 

"Hello, my not blood related child." She said, laughing too. 

They hugged eachother and then my mum got my bag out of her car. She then handed it to Tooru who put it next to his in the backseat of his car. 

"Have a fun time you two, ok?" My mum said, standing by her car. 

"We will." I said. 

She smiled and then got into her car, driving away. We waved at her and then turned to Tooru's mum, who was coming towards us from the house. 

"Alright, you boys should get going. Have a good time, ok?" Kawila said, handing us a bag with some snacks for the ride. 

"We will! Bye mum!" Tooru said, getting into the drivers seat. 

I waved at Kawila and then got into the passengers seat. After turning the car on, Oikawa started to drive away. After a few minutes, we where on the motorway. 

"How long is the ride?" I asked. 

"1 hour and 30 minutes, around that." He said, pointing to the GPS. 

"That's not too long. What's the plans for when we arrive?" I asked. 

"Well, we're arriving at around 2:30pm so we will leave our stuff at our aunties and then we go surprise my friends." He explained. 

"Sounds good. Won't your friends we at school though?" I asked. 

"Yup! That's the good thing though. I'm going to surprise them at school. I mean, it was my old school, it'll be good to go visit it." He explained, smiling. 

"Yeah, that's always good." I said, smiling too. 

"Hey Iwa?" Tooru said. 

"Yeah?" I asked. 

"Thanks for coming with me." 

"No problem Tooru."
