Bridget and Greyson said nothing more as they paced around the newsroom, both checking the clock as they waited for Daisy to arrive.

After ten minutes of silence, Bridget opened her mouth to add more to her theory but was cut off by the creaking sound of the old door opening and a young girl entered wearing mom jeans and a crop top. She had dirty blonde hair tied up in a messy bun and her cheeks were rosy, probably from the summer heat outside.

"You must be Daisy." Bridget stated as more of a question.

The blonde nodded, "Yes, you wanted to talk to me about Colleen and Alison."

Greyson nodded and shot Bridget a look, they noticed that like Patricia, she kept watching her back, again like she was worried someone was going to jump out of nowhere. They also knew that whatever she was going to say, would most likely not be repeated.

"Come on over here, we can talk in my office." Bridget offered, giving Greyson a slight nod of her head.

Daisy nodded and awkwardly shuffled her feet as she followed the two of them into Bridget's office.

Daisy sat down in the plush chair by Bridget's desk and glanced around the room. "Do you want anything to drink?" Greyson offered and Daisy's cheeks flushed in response, she tore her eyes away from him and responded with a muted voice.

"No thank you."

"Is it ok if I record our conversation?" Bridget asked gently.

Daisy nodded in response.

"So, Danica and Hadley told me that you saw Mr. Garcia and Colleen after practice one day, can you tell me more about that?"

Greyson tried to brush off the fact that she didn't say "we" or "us" at all. But before he could give Bridget a look, Daisy answered.

"It was about two weeks before Colleen and the others were..." Daisy swallowed, "...murdered. I was in the locker room after practice and Alison was waiting with me. She was my best friend on the team and she and I were planning on going back to my house to study and practice our new routine." Daisy explained.

"Anyways, we were in the locker room and Alison was giggling. I was packing my clothes away from practice when I asked her, what was so funny.

"Alison told me to come over to the door and she and I peered through it, there we saw Colleen and Mr. Garcia yelling at each other in the hallway. All the other girls and Coach Fellows had already left and I don't think either of them saw or heard us." Daisy smiled, thinking back to that day.

"I remember Alison turning to me with this look in her eyes as she said, 'we should follow them.' Alison never liked Colleen and liked to get any kind of dirt on her, she could. And based on her and Mr. Garcia's argument, it didn't sound like they were fighting about her grade." Alison paused only to answer Greyson's question.

"Wait, you said Alison didn't like Colleen?"

Daisy looked at Greyson like he'd just asked the dumbest question ever, "Yeah. They've hated each other since the second grade."

"So they've had fights before?" Bridget added on.

"Uh yeah. I'm surprised Alison didn't get voted as captain, the girls give her shit about being perfect but at least she's nice to everyone. But she was never an outspoken leader who demanded attention like Colleen. Anyways—" Daisy tried to continue her story but Greyson had another question.

"According to Hadley and Danica, Alison dated Jude Harland right?"

Daisy's face lit up. Bridget knew that face, there were lots of stories, gossip and girl talks were behind Jude's name. Bridget should know that look, her and Viviana used to do that a lot when they were younger. "Oh yes. Alison was sooo in love with Jude. They went and did everything together. But Al always made time to hang out with me, we've always been best friends." Daisy grinned.
