My Clingy Best Friend

~To The Story~

"...And then they started arguing!!" A seven-year-old you cried as Karma held your hand, leading you down the neighbourhood.

"That's why you're crying?" Your best friend gave a baffled look. The story behind your crying was that you heard your parents arguing which scared you considering you never heard them fought before. "You and I argue sometimes."

"But it's scary when grown-up fights."

"Not really."

You sniffled. "Karma, promise me we won't fight when we're married."

Flustered, Karma exclaimed. "Wh-who says we're getting married?!"

"I did," you said with an innocent tone.

"Well I'm not marrying you," Karma stuck his tongue at you.

"EHHHHH?!" You shrieked in shock, halting your tracks. "W-why not?! You don't like me?!"

"No, I like you, (y/n)-chan."

"No, you don't!!" You accused him, crying again.

Karma puffed his cheeks, frowning at the sight. "If I say I'll marry you, would you stop crying?"

Pouting, you bobbed your head.

The youthful Karma simply sighed follow by a small shrug. "Oh alright, I'll marry you."

"Yeah!" You happily clapped, smiling from ear to ear follow by latching onto him and embracing your friend into a hug. "I love yah Karma!"

You were too happy to realize that Karma hasn't hugged you back. The boy was too stunned to make any movements by your touch, but he did end up blushing.

'She probably doesn't even remember that day' Karma thought, keeping his eyes on the screen of his DS, sitting on the couch, reminiscing about his childhood days with you.

"Hey, watcha playing~?" Your voice suddenly appeared next to Karma's ear causing his heart to leap out of his chest and because of this, it caused him to lose the game.

"Haha, you lost~ I'll play for you." You climbed over the couch then grabbed DS before and casually laying your head on Karma's lap to start playing.

'That was not good for my heart,' Karma thought, placing a hand over his face red cheeks, remembering how your lips were so close to his ear.

You were too focus on the game to realize Karma's dilemma, and not to mention how you laying on his lap puts him in a weird spot.

You spend your entire weekend at Karma's house. Occasionally you popped by your own house just to check on your beloved rabbit. And the times you were at Karma's house... you've been kinda clingy.

Whenever Karma had to leave the house to buy some food or had to go to the bank, you were right behind his tail; ready to go wherever he was going like a puppy. Also, you never seem to want to by yourself and forced him to go anywhere with you. Karma, however, never confronted you about your clingy behaviour knowing that you weren't aware of your actions.

Karma pondered if this had something to do with your break up and that you craved a male's attention. Whatever the case was, he didn't mind a clingy you. In fact, he was enjoying it.

What brought Karma out of his own bubble was when heard the familiar sound of the game over screen.

"Heeh~ you lost didn't you?" Karma teased you, pinching your cheek.
