Her obliviousness is killing me!

Karma's mercury orbs quickly fled to where you were sitting, wanting to make sure you weren't watching what the text message for him said. Fortunately, you were too busy studying to even take a glance at him. Of course, Karma wasn't studying with you, but he agreed to come to the school's library with you (after you forced him into going). While you study on your own, Karma kept himself entertained on his phone.

How do you think I feel?

Also, I don't plan on confessing to her.

Are you afraid that she'll reject you?

Karma

Psh, no.

I'm not scared of rejection itself per se, I'm scared of how things will play out after I tell her how I feel.

Airi

Such as......?

Karma

That's the thing, I don't know. It's the unknown I'm scared of.

She might see me differently.

Or things might get awkward between us.

Besides, she doesn't have any sort of romantic feelings for me, so why bother?

I wouldn't say that she doesn't have any feelings for you.

Last time I spoke with her, she said she will hate it if you ever had a gf.

By reading that text message, Karma raised his eyebrow, and at the same time, he heard you mumbling something about the homework.

Come on, don't play with my heart.

Airi

I'm serious.

Unlike you, I'm not a liar >_<

Maybe she just wants all my attention her.

We did grow up together, so she might find it weird that I'm giving attention to another girl.

Or maybe she's starting to develop feelings for you.
