For better or for worse

Chapter Three: The Second Bomb

Taylor opened the car door and carefully placed a neck brace on the oldest girl.
"What's your name?" Taylor asked checking her heartbeat.
"Megan and that's my sister,Lucy."
"Where does it hurt,Megan?"
Megan pointed to her legs pressed against the front passenger seat,"My legs."
"Okay,don't worry I'll get you out,I just need to go and get some firemen to make sure it's stable for me to move you guys out." Taylor explained.
"No! You can't leave them!" The mother screamed.
Taylor looked at Megan,"Please don't go," she whispered.
The younger sister Lucy started to cry.
"Okay." Taylor said,looking at the children.
"Get my sister first,if you have to be quick.Save her."
Taylor nodded but promised she'd get Megan out after. She went round to Lucy's side,opened her door and carefully unbuckled the small child's seat belt.
"Come here angel." She whispered lifting her out and taking her to her mother.
"She seems to be okay,but I will need to check her out after I get Megan out."
The mother nodded,clutching her daughter tightly,"Thank you."

Erin Lindsay ran down the hospital corridor and rushed outside to find Chief Boden.
"Severide!" She called,"Where's Boden?"
"Over there,whats wrong?" He asked concerned.
"Theres another bomb."
