It had been two days since the hospital bombing and re building had started on the affected areas of the hospital. Volunteers had been helping clear up the mess left behind and soon the hospital should be back to normal.

"They are planning and adding a whole extra ward to the hospital." Taylor told Casey on the way to 51,"They're dedicating it to all who were lost and affected in the bombing."
"At least some good came out of it." Casey said parking the car.
Taylor watched him grab his bag as she got out of the car,"I guess."
Noticing the sadness in his girlfriends voice he got out and kissed his girlfriends forehead. He knew she was feeling crap from the bombing and not just the emotional side of things. Last night he had heard her vomiting in the bathroom but hadn't found the chance to ask her about it.
Taylor smiled weakly and headed into the firehouse with him,as they did she noticed an unfamiliar man stood near the doorway. Casey headed to go and get changed and Taylor took it as her opportunity to investigate.
"Can I help you?" She asked.
The man spun around reeking of booze and sweat and his eyes were red as if he's been crying.
"Are you Taylor?" He slurred.
Taylor shifted suddenly now uncomfortable,"Yes why?"
Suddenly the man lunged forward and pinned her against the wall,"You left my daughter for dead."
Taylor winced as he pushed her into the stone wall and tried to push him off her but he was twice her size despite being drunk she still couldn't shift him.
"You could have saved her!" He shouted at her on the verge of tears.
Just then Severide was getting out of his car and noticed the brunette pinned against a wall,"Hey!"
He jogged over and pulled the man off her,"What's your problem?"
"She-" He pointed a shaking finger at her,"-left my daughter for the dead."
Severide looked at Taylor almost crying,"Look man what happened was unspeakable but I know this woman. And she tried her very best to save your daughters life as well as risking her own."
The man started walking away angrily but not before shouting,"Well it should have been her!"
Severide looked at Taylor who was now in tears,"Taylor."
She shook her head and quickly ran into the firehouse pushing past Herrmann.
"What's wrong with Taylor?" He asked concerned.
Severide just shook his head sadly. She was more damaged than they thought.
