Demi bit her lip as she looked around at the small secluded cafe that she was sitting in. She was in New York. That's where her and Joe were supposed to go after they left his parents' house. She had taken his ticket with her, she couldn't decide if it was on accident or on purpose, so he would just have to find his own way there. She was meeting an old friend, doing her photo shoots and interviews, and then she was going back home. She didn't want anything to do with Joe at the moment.
"My angel," Demi turned around at the voice and stood up, letting Wilmer engulf her in a warm hug. She sniffled into his chest as he rubbed her back and she pulled away, giving him a small smile.
"Thanks for meeting me on such a short notice, I just really need a friend right now," Demi explained as Wilmer sat across from her. She played with the diamond Tiffany ring that Joe had given her and shook her head.
"So are you gonna tell me what's wrong?" Wilmer rubbed her arm as Demi looked at him and placed her hand on the table.
"Well I'm pregnant and me and Joe were so happy and then we tell his parents and his dad basically tells me to abort my own child and Joe didn't defend me and he promised he would. Its like he didn't even care," Demi wiped underneath her eyes and rubbed her stomach. "And now I'm here all alone and I don't know what to do and everything just hurts and...and..." Wilmer stood up as he sensed that Demi was about to break down. He helped her up and wrapped his arm around her waist in a protective way, leading her out of the cafe and towards the hotel he was staying at.
"Wilmer, don't leave me okay?" Demi's bottom lip trembled and Wilmer nodded.
He opened the door for her and went straight to the elevator as Demi rocked back and forth on her heels, a nervous habit that Wilmer had witnessed many times. He understood that she just needed a friend right now and he wanted to be there for her.
"Here we are," he was on the top floor and opened one of the double doors to his suite.
"Are you tired or hungry? We could order in," Demi took off her jacket and set it on the couch, tugging her scarf off along with it. There was no need for it anymore. Everyone knew she was pregnant.
"I just wanna sleep," Wilmer nodded and grabbed her hand, leading her to the back room where the bed was.
He tucked her in and kissed her forehead and just as he was about to leave, Demi grabbed his hand and tugged him back.
"You said you wouldn't leave me," Demi whimpered and Wilmer kicked his shoes off and climbed into the bed next to her. He sat on top of the covers because even though they had ended things a long time ago, he still loved her with all of his heart. She had changed him and he would never forget that. But he didn't wanna end up doing something that he knew she would regret when they woke up.
"You're the best," Demi said in her cute sleeping voice before he heard her breath fall even.
"So are you..."

"Come on Demi," Joe dialed her number for the tenth time in the past minute and paced his old bedroom as he waited for her to answer. After lashing out at Kevin and his dad he figured that he should try to get Demi back. She was pregnant and alone and Demi hated to be lonely at any times. And she didn't know anyone in Jersey so where could she have possibly gone?
"Hello?" he was almost taken back that she had actually answered. She sounded like she had just woken up.
"Demi, I," Joe breathed out a sigh of relief, "thank God you're alright where are you?" Joe asked, sitting on his bed as Demi huffed into the phone.
