(Patton's Point Of View)
Hooray! Today is going to be the best day of my life! I finally get to work at a job! Which means I will be getting money soon! I just hope that the people working there with me are nice...
I decided to wear my good clothes today. The ones I haven't worn yet because I was saving them for a special occasion. My baby blue jean overalls and a white and pale blue stripped shirt, along with pale blue converse. As you can see, I like blue.
Anyway, my new job is working at the counter at Chick-fil-A. I was pinning for a job at a bakery, but this will have to do for now.
As I was walking down the street, I saw the nice person who gave me a box inside their house through a window, laughing at something with their friend. 'I wish I had a friend..' I thought.
'No, no! Don't think that way, Patton! You are going to a new job. Your life is going to get better soon! Be grateful for your luck! Some people have it way worse than you do!' I chastised myself.

Before I knew it, I was there. After taking multiple deep breaths, I walked inside, despite the sign on the door that said, 'closed'.
I was a bit nervous, but smiled mindlessly anyway.
No one was there except for some workers preparing the place for the day.
One worker looked up from what they were doing, saw me and spoke, "Sir, we are not open yet, why are you inside?"
"Uhh, sorry! I was just here because I'm supposed to be working here now.." I stated, now feeling even more nervous.
"Oh, I see! You're the person our boss told us about!" They exclaimed with a smile.
"That's me!" I smiled, now feeling much more confident.
"Good! Now come, come!" They cheered, motioning for me to come behind the counter.
"I'm Maisie, by the way," They chimed, "She/her!"
I smiled wider. "I'm Patton! He/him!" I beamed, while walking behind the counter.
A couple workers grumbled at my happy, upbeat attitude, but I just ignored them. I always do.
Maisie then gave me a Chick-fil-A hat and apron and gave me instructions on what to do.

". . . and if you ever need anything, I'll be over there." She explained, pointing at a stove.
"Okay!" I chirped.
Then, one of the employees called out to us that we are open so we need to wrap up all the talking and finish preparing for the day.
I happily obliged.
~~~~Le maaaagicaal time skip~~~~
(ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧"Bye everyone!" I called out.
"Baiiiii Pattooonn~!" Most everyone screeched after me.
I laughed to myself as I walked home. Since it's a weekend, I got to work all day long even though I work a part-time shift. Now, let me tell you. I am exhausted.
I didn't think I would have to deal with three Karen's and seven crying children on my first day of work! Talk about stress!
Anyway, every day after school I have time to get ready for work and then I work for five hours. By the time I'm done it is dark outside.
Then, on the weekends I work from 7 AM- 5 PM.
This job is going to be fun. At least I befriended most of the staff there. Now I have six friends! How cool is that?
Soon enough, I was home. I collapsed onto my hard bed and sighed, suddenly feeling extremely tired.
I then closed my eyes and soon drifted into a dreamless slumber.
A/n: heyyy guuuyss. . . Long time no see?
Yeah, I don't know what to say. I mean type. Whatever.
Anyway, do you guys like the thing where I center the paragraphs or do you want me to go back into keeping on the left?
Oooo also! I have a m a z i n g ideas for this fan fiction so I'm excited to write it here!
One more thing, do y'all want me to update this book again, my New Life book, my Why Me? book, or my art book next?
Please tell me. (Wiggity_Waggity2 you better tell me or I will hunt you down, chop off your toes, and feed them to the infants in my basement.)
Bye my lovely little ducklings 🐥
