(Patton's Point of View)

I felt the sun on my eyelids. I instantly jumped up from my spot where I decided to live. I grabbed my clothes, which lye next to me.

I pulled them on, then looked around to see if anyone had been watching me. No one was here, so I went out from behind the shop I live behind.

I walked to school, worrying if anyone would stare and wonder why I'm always wearing the same clothes, or why I don't really bring that much to school or why I'm always smiling and being 'happy' and helping people in the conditions and circumstances I am under.

They say I should help myself or I will never get a new house, and stuff like that, but... since I don't really care about myself, I have to help others. No one deserves to be as sad and lonely as I am.

I walked to my locker and opened it. I grabbed a pencil and some papers and supplies for my first class.

I turned around and saw a group of friends laughing a little at something. I started to wonder what it would be like to have friends.

I never had friends, even before my life changed after my family and house-
I quickly pushed the thought of what happened away.

I get emotional when I think about that stuff, and I didn't want to cry at school. 'You are supposed to be happy! Act like it!' I reminded myself.

As I quickly walked to class, I saw a glimpse of a kid wearing a tie, and a black shirt, with rectangular glasses on. 'Hmm.' I thought.

My first class is math, which by far is my favorite class. I came into class and sat in my desk, put my pencil and stuff down, and then waited.

"Good morning class!" A joyful Mrs. Stone said.

(A/n: I just sneezed four tines in a row, and now my vision is blurry. Blehh)

"Good morning, Mrs. Stone!" Everyone responded. "So, today we are going to be working out of the books, so everyone please get out your workbooks, and turn to page 371, and please rip pages 371- 375 out of the book." Mrs. Stone said.

I pulled the book out of my desk and turned to page 371, then I started ripping.

"This is just some review of things we have already been doing, so it should be fairly easy if you have been paying attention in class." Said Mrs. Stone, glaring daggers at Janus and Remus. "So, please begin." She finished.
