(Road trip was amazing! Dream's such a good singer! I've been listening to this non-stop :))

George and Sapnap watched the sleeping blonde in front of them. His emerald eyes are closed, his face looked pale and his chest rose and falls slowly. They constantly feared that one day Dream would never wake up. Dream clearly has something wrong with him, he would come in and out of consciousness and he would sleep for days and for even weeks. They first realized this when Dream collapsed in front of Tommy, Tubbo and Ghostbur who were doing all sorts of nonsense. George shivered at the memory of Philza and Technoblade carrying him back in the community house along with a hysteric Tubbo, an angry and scared Tommy and even Ghostbur is panicking and clutching his blue tightly to his chest.

He didn't wake up for 3 days. When he did. He got sick with a fever and cough. It took him 2 days to fully heal. And that wasn't the first time he collapsed. While baking with Puffy and Niki, Dream once again collapsed. That scared poor Puffy a lot, she was like a mother to Dream, she was heartbroken to send him away. She was happy and relieved that her duckling did not do all those terrible things. But she became overly protective of Dream ever since the incident a week ago. She is not losing her duckling again. But this time the blackout took him 3 and a half days to wake up. At first they thought he was just healing. But it just kept happening over and over again. And it also took longer for him to properly heal from the blackouts.

But this blackout has been going on for two weeks now. They had to carefully feed him healing and strength potions, along with some soup. Some of the smp members are researching about Dreamons, while others are mixing potion after potion together trying to find some sort of cure, even if it is only temporary. Anything to help the friend they just got back.

This wouldn't have happened if they were to find out about the Dreamon earlier.

Dream has always been there in their darkest hour.

He always know if something is bothering them.

He always had their back.

He never gives up on them.

He always go out of his way to help them.

He would protect them all from any foe.

He even said he would give his life for them.

He said they are his best friends.

They are right?

If so...

Why can't they do the same?

They failed to protect him...

They failed to keep him safe...

George and Sapnap's train of thought was interrupted by shuffling feet. They turned around and saw the rest of the smp behind them; Tommy, Tubbo, Puffy, Quackity, Eret and everyone else. "Anything?" Sapnap asked breaking the silence. They slowly shook their heads in silence. "Well? There has to be something that we can do!" George asked to the group in the room.

"Well...There is another way..."

A monotone voice cut through the silence of the room. Techno walked in with Philza with a book in hand.

"Blade? What is that?" Tommy asks his older brother.

"This book may help us bring him back..." Philza answered for his son, looking at the old book in his hands.

"Excuse me, not to be rude, but how would an old book wake Dream up?" Quackity asked curiously.

"This book would allow us to go into Dream's mind, using the provided ritual, to try and help him wake his subconscious" Philza answered reading the page going to be used for the said ritual.
