When I saw him as I was walking down our makeshift aisle that was really just a pathway, I fell even more in love with Louis. He looked absolutely stunning, not that he didn't always. We'd expanded our guest list to include the boys when Niall had dramatically said he needed to see his O.T.P and favorite ship get married.
"Daddy," Darcy asked, reaching for my hand. I smiled down at her, taking her smaller hand in mine. She pulled me down the path faster than I had been intending on going. She took hold of Louis' wrist when we reached him, and dropped my hand, reaching for my wrist as well, She pulled our hands closer together. "Hold," she demanded. Louis simply laughed at our daughter's antics, taking my hand. She smiled at the sight, walking over to Niall who eagerly scooped the small girl up.
The officiant looked between the two of us and our families, smiling. I took Louis' other hand, looking into his eyes smiling. His eyes were shining, and he was everything to me. The officiant started with the stereotypical 'we are gathered here today,' speech before Louis interrupted.
"Yeah, we all know why we're here and nobody is going to object to just skip to the part where I get to marry this beautiful man," he snaps, smiling up at me. The officiant laughed as did most of our friends.
"Harry," he asked, turning towards me. "Your vows?"
"Louis," I say, squeezing his hands gently. "From the moment we met, I knew you were someone I wanted in my life. And then I got to know you and learned you were the most stubborn and comedic individual I'd ever met. You always laughed at my jokes, which we both know are absolutely horrid. And each day, I slowly fell more in love with you, but I was convinced that you would never feel the same way towards me, but here we are. Louis, I love you more than words can express and when we broke up, I remember feeling heartbroken because even when we were sixteen, I knew these arms were made for holding you. You are my everything, and I promise to love you until my dying breath, because you are it for me. This is it for me. I love you so much, my angel." Everyone seemed to be in tears after my words and the officiant turned to Louis, asking for his speech, which I was sure he had written down mere moments ago.
"Harold," he began.
"That's not my name," I point out.
"Shush and let me talk, daling," he pauses, waiting for me to interrupt him once again. "I remember when I first realized I was absolutely undeniably in love with you and how scared I was. Scared that I would lose my best friend and be turned down by the most amazing boy all at the same time. And then the lads convinced me to tell you and everything just seemed to fall into place after that, because with you, everything made sense. You make everything make sense. Everyday with you feels like a blessing. I promise to love you until my dying breath. No, I promised to love you for the rest of an eternity because that's how long I plan on loving you. I promise to always tell you that you're the better Styles when Gemma insists she is. I promise to tell you look amazing every hour of every day when we both know you're a fashion icon. I love you so much and am looking forward to the beginning of our forever." I was on the verge of tears, no doubt. His words always seemed to have this affect on me
"Do you, Harry Edward Styles, take this man to be your husband," he asked.
"Yes, yeah, of course," I replied, wiping at my eyes. Everyone seemed to have let out a lighthearted chuckle at the action.
"Louis William Tomlinosn, do you take this man to be your husband?"
"I do. I really do," he whispers, giving my hands a squeeze. The officiant looked over at Darcy, signaling for her to bring him the actual wedding bands for our rings. She jumped out of Niall's grasp, running over to us with two silver bands, handing them to Louis. He took one, slipping it onto my finger and handing me the other. I slip the silver ring onto his finger, settling it next to the green gemmed ring.
"Well go on, kiss," Niall called. Louis and I laughed, leaning in to kiss each other for the first time as husbands.
