"Darcy," I called after her as she did practically everything in her power to get away from me. Darcy was absolutely beautiful, though I was a little biased, being her father and all. She had just turned one a few days ago and I couldn't be happier.

"Dada," she screamed, yelling towards me. Taylor was close on her heels, but not quite close enough. Darcy looked like if someone had made a female version of me, but with Taylor's hair. Her eyes were bright green and had dark brown hair, but it wasn't naturally curly. That made it easier for Taylor and I to manage for the time being, but something I was sure she would grow to wish she had when she was older.

"I still can't believe we made her," she muttered as I picked Darcy up.

"Everybody, please give a warm welcome to mister Harry Styles," James Cordon called. The crowd screamed louder than I'd heard in a while, but I have to say I didn't entirely miss wondering if I would actually be able to hear in the matter of hours. Once everyone settled down, James began his interview, though it was more like simply chatting with an old friend about life. "Now your first album, entitled after yourself, of course, comes out in two days. How are you feeling?"

"'M buzzed," I reply. "Very excited for all the fans to hear the album," I explain. James simply gives me a knowing look. He'd heard the album. He knew that every single song on there was about Louis. I didn't exactly make it imperceptible.

I couldn't help myself, I missed him. And I would be lying if I said that I hadn't checked his Instagram at least forty times... today. There were pictures upon pictures of Louis playing soccer and he always looked fine as can be. Taylor had caught me internet stalking him on more than one occasion and had told me to text him, which I never did. He probably blocked my number anyways.

"Now, Harry, you posted this very cute picture just last night, and it seems you've broken the internet. We'd love to hear more about everything going on with you and maybe get some more pictures like this from you," James suggested.

"Erm, well, Darcy just turned one so I was very excited about that, and Taylor? She's amazing."

"Would you say there's a wedding in the future?"

"We haven't really talked about it. I think when it's the right time, I'll know," I explained. He nodded along like it wasn't the biggest load of rubbish he'd ever heard. He knew I knew that too. Because once upon a time, it had been the right time. And I had let him go.
