The fuck?? First we are pulled into a new world thanks to Aelin. Then we meet people with wings that she somehow knows. Then we find out the goddess I worshiped for a century is still alive. And now some weird-ass dog thing comes and attacks the girls dog.
This is what I get for befriending an insane woman.
Aelin scurried over to get Fleetfoot out from that dog. Until she saw what they were doing.
They were jumping around and yapping like little puppies. They were practically on top of each other licking and playing. It kinda reminded me of what Abraxos used to do when he was with Narene. While me and Astrien........
I can't go there. Not now. But even as I try to push it to the back of my mind I feel tears starting to form. I quickly blink them away.
Back in the present I see that everyone now has eyes on the two dogs and Aelin. Whenever she tried to come near Fleetfoot the other dog would jump in front of her. "Oh Lillian," Aelin called. The new people turned to look at me and I realized I was Lillian. I hummed in answer. " Could you come here and possibly help me get my dog?"
Before I could take a step a young woman with deep red hair came running around the corner but stopped when she saw the other dog. Then she saw us and said, "get the fuck away from my dog."
