It had been three days sense Feyre came out of her room. Three days sense a one hour interaction with her and the rest of the court. It had been that way for months now. Barely seeing her for days then seeing her for barely enough time to hug. Rhys was worse. He was out and about trying to make it seem like he was fine. In reality he barely functioned. Then once he was alone, or thought he was, he would break down, clean himself up, and resume like nothing had happened. He was the only one who ever really interacted with Feyre. But sometimes Elain and Nesta were able to coax her into talking to them. She understood though. She could not imagine what it was like for them. Fae pregnancy was rare and hard enough on its own, but losing the child....

It had only been three months sense his death. Feyre could barely function when she found out about the miscarriage... She and Rhys cried for days. Feyre still spends her days crying. Maybe two weeks later Rhys tried to take things back to normal. Or as normal as it can be. But truthfully he was never able to get any work done.

So here she was. Sitting with Armen going through papers. Expense reports, updates on the illiryans, news from the courts and beyond. "How many more do you have?" Mor asked. Armens replying grunt held no true responce. Then Az burst in, gasping and stammering something Mor couldn't understand.

(switch to feyre's POV)

She sat on the edge of her bed staring at nothing tears streaming down her face. She couldn't tell how long it had been sense she last did anything else. She only knew she was still alive and time still moved because every once in a while Rhys would come in and cry with her. His child. Her child. Their child. Dead. Sometimes she wondered if he was the one that the bone carver appeared to her as. But he was Dead to. She could ask someone, but the only person who knew but alas he was also dead. She didn't know how long this had gone on for. She hadn't even spoken to the inner circle for a full conversation

Until Mor came and knocked down her door. Her eyes shot up and confusion raced through her. Something that she had not felt in months raced through her: Energy.

Her eyes where wide. Following her Azriel's, and Armen's where too. Rhys tugged on the bond for the first time in months, likely sensing her confusion. She simply told him to got to the townhouse and bring Cass. "What is it?" She asked simply. but it was Az that responded. " a portal Opened in the house of wind." "We do not know to where or when it opened" Mor added.

Armen seemed to be lost in thought so it was better to leave her be. Seconds later Rhysand and Cassain where standing in the room confused. Az just told them to winnow to the House of wind.

They appeared in front of a large swirling portal. I gaped at it, and so did Mor, Rhys, and Cass. I walked up to it. Before I could get to close Rhys grabbed my arm and pulled me toward him. Wrapping his arms in front of my body he questioned "what the hell is going on here?" "If we are being honest.... we have no idea." Armen said blandly.

"So we know nothing about it." "never said that" her grin was joyful as she turned and walked into the portal. And left us gaping after her.
