FINN COULDN'T HELP but feel a fluttery buzz, the familiar feeling he loved and only got when he was around Y/N. His hands fidgeted in his lap as he stared out through the windshield as his guard drove him back from his appointment with Y/N."How did it go?" The gruff voice asked beside him, his hands firm on the steering wheel.
Finn shrugged, not wanting to give anything away about the peaceful moments he had with Y/N for the first time in eight years. "It was fine."
His guard nodded, clicking his cheek between his teeth as he thought about something. He stared at the road ahead, the traffic just adding onto his piling thoughts. It was now or never.
"Hey, I need a favor."
Finn groaned, banging his head against the headrest. "Dean, no more favors."
"Come on, I just need you to do one more thing, it's nothing really—"
"Dean-"
"I just need you to snag a couple files from that ex girlfriend of yours, and give them to me, it's nothing—"
"Fuck, I said no!" Finn growled.
He knew exactly what Dean wanted, and he wasn't going to risk getting sent back to jail for his friend's own selfish needs.Dean Chester is Finn's parole guard, and despite him being only 4 years older than Finn, Dean is the man that keeps him in check while his parole officer isn't around. But just because Dean's involved with the law, doesn't mean that he has the cleanest record either.
Dean had been Finn's prison guard since the very beginning of his sentence when he was 17 years old, and was with him every step of the way. They quickly became friends, and Dean pulled a lot of strings to make his prison sentence run smoother.
That's what Dean was good at. He was good at having friends in all the right places, and pulled a lot of favors when he needed them. And he did a lot of that for Finn.
He's a con-artist playing the role of a parole guard for ex-convicts. It was a good way to call in easy favors.
So Dean was obviously not happy with Finn's answer. He bit the inside of his cheek, his fists clenched the steering wheel while he tried to contain his outburst.
