Waterproof

*The next morning*

Once me and the boys get up I ask them "Hey guys, last night Lili texted me and asked if we wanted to have another pool party today, do you guys want to go?" I heard Liam laugh "I'm guessing you already said yes but I still want to go!" I hear Louis and Harry say "Us too!" I tell them "Okay I'll text Lili."

Me: Good morning bb! I just asked the boys if they wanted to go to the pool party they all said yes.

Lili: Good morning! Okay I told the girls, we should be ready for you guys to come over at around 3:00.

Me: Okay sounds good talk to you later, love you.

Lili: Bye, love you.

I went into the bathroom to brush my teeth, I usually slept without a shirt on so when I looked at myself in the mirror I saw that the nail marks from Lili were fading. They were still there but they were fading. I was debating whether or not to wear a swim shirt in the pool today or to go shirtless. I decided to go shirtless since pretty much everyone knew about what happened.

Lili's POV

Me and the girls hurried and got ready so that we had enough time to get the actual party set up. Some of us let our hair down straight and others put theirs up in a messy bun but I put mine in messy braids.

We each got into our bathing suits and I must say we all looked freaking amazing.

Before me and the girls go outside to set things up I asked Haley secretly "Can you help me put the waterproof makeup on real quick?" She nodded and followed me into the bathroom. I quickly grabbed the bottle without even looking at it and handing it to Haley. I tilt my head up for her to put it on. "God I hope this works and stays on." She laughed and said "It will, don't worry." And with that she blended it in and we walked back downstairs to start setting up.

It was around 2:45 when I heard the boys car pulling up the driveway. Was it just me or does it look like their walking in slow motion? Maybe I was just in awe of how great they looked. But my eyes almost immediately locked on Niall's smile and biceps. Oh my god his biceps were so toned and defined, they made me speechless. I came out of my daze and saw Isabella running into Liam's arms and hugging him. They were such a cute couple. And I could tell they were totally in love with each other.

My thoughts came to a pause when Niall grabbed me by my waist and pulled me in for a kiss with a smile on his lips. I pulled away first. "Well nice to see you too." I said laughing. Until Niall picked me up and threw me into the pool.

When I came back up to the surface of the water I heard Niall say laughing "That's for pulling away." I swam over to him, him reaching his hand out to get me back out of the pool. I pull him in instead.

Once the rest of everyone else got in, it wasn't long until we started playing the Chicken Game. This time me and Niall went up against Louis and Harry. They ended up winning when I fell off Niall's shoulders and into the water.

When I came back up, I only reached the surface for about 5 seconds until everyone was looking at me. I looked at Niall and asked "What's wrong?" To answer me he motioned to his collarbone. Already knowing what he meant when he did that, I got all red and after that I got out and took Haley's wrist and pulled her all the way until we were in my room.

"What the hell Haley I thought you said it would work." I said sternly in her direction. "I- I thought it would, I mean maybe since we got it from a gas station it probably wouldn't be the best but it still should have stayed on longer." I didn't know what to say so I walked over to my bathroom and grabbed the makeup we used earlier and handed it to Haley for her to read again.

After a few seconds of examining it she looked up at me and said "Lili you handed me the wrong bottle." Utterly confused I walked over to her and said "What?" Looking down at the bottle I saw that the makeup didn't say waterproof. I heard the door downstairs open. Me and Haley knowing that we wouldn't be alone in a matter of seconds with hid the makeup under a pillow.

When I saw Niall walk through my door I let out a small sigh of relief. He walked straight over to me and held my hands. "Are you okay?" He asked, I nodded my head and said "I was just caught a bit off guard." Haley mumbled that she'll leave us two alone but before she could shut the door I told her "Haley I'm sorry I got so mad, it wasn't your fault." She gave me a little smile and said "It's okay I understand." And with that she left the room and shut the door.

I looked back up at Niall. Our height difference was really different. I was really short and Niall at least had to be 5'4. I told him "I don't even know why I tried covering it up, their our friends it's not like they would judge me for it." He took his hand and put it on my shoulder and took his thumb and started moving it slowly across the spot. "Probably because it was your first time and you thought it would be better to give your friends only some of the details and not visuals. Actually last night I told the boys and showed them my back from your nails."

Another wave of redness came over me and Niall picked up on it. "There's no need to be embarrassed or anything like that. When I told the lads I actually felt better knowing that they knew. So I think you should tell your friends." He said, and I nodded and then he came down to kiss me on my forehead. Soon after we walked back downstairs and before I opened the door I took a deep breath.

Once I told the girls about what happened and why I tried covering the mark up, they completely understood and said they were glad I felt comfortable sharing it with them. I couldn't believe I was so scared at the beginning to tell them, they are my best friends, and I could tell them anything.
