Chapter 10

(Chelsea's POV)

So today was my birthday and I was finally turning 16! I wasn't planning on having a party I just wanted to hangout with everyone. I went downstairs to eat waffles and strawberries, my favorite. I only made myself breakfast because I woke up pretty early: 7:30. After I ate I decided to just stay in my favorite pajamas and watch tv. I turned in the tv and looked through the channels, I finally came to Dance Moms! Yasss! At about 10, Bella and Macy came downstairs and ate breakfast. I decided to go get ready for the big day, it was kind of a colder day. I still wanted to dress cute but be comfy and warm, I came across the perfect outfit! I brought all my clothes in the bathroom and took a nice hot shower. After I got out I threw on my clothes, blow dried my hair and then straightened it. I decided to keep the makeup simple, I curled my eyelashes and applied my favorite mascara and a pink lip color. I was ready for the day! I went to go see if Macy and Bella were dressed and ready. Bella was in the shower and Macy was doing her makeup.

"Happy birthday Chels!" Macy said hugging me.
"Thank you Mace" I laughed.
"So I'm thinking maybe Starbucks when Bella gets ready?" Macy questioned.
"Defiantly! Sounds good to me." I smiled.

After about 45 minutes Bella was ready to go! We went to Starbucks and all ordered our drinks and decided to just walk around town and do a little shopping.

**1:35**

We had a lot of fun but I had to go get my license so I dropped Macy and Bella off. After about 1 hour I was officially legal to drive alone!!

(Macy's POV)

When Chelsea left to go get her license, Bella and I put all her presents in her room. We wanted this day to be special because she couldn't spend it with her family. Mariah flew out to the Bahamas with Sammy, her parents are hours away, and the rest of her family doesn't live in North Carolina. We're the only people she has left, her mom hasn't even texted her yet. Tonight, I think we're going on the boat and going tubing which I'm really excited about! Chelsea should be home any minute now, and we are stoked.

(Chelsea's POV)

On the way home Mariah texted me:

M- Hey, ugly face!😏 Happy 16th birthday to you, sorry I couldn't be there.😔 When I get back were having a girls day🙏 Love you so much and have a good day!😚

C- Awhh Mariah, I love you too❤️ Thank you so much, and you texted me before my mom did..😂

M- Wow, forget about her, if she isn't here for you know when will she be? I have to go tho, Sammy can't cook and I'm scared he's going to burn down our room.😭😂

C- Oh goodness😂 Well can't wait to see you😚

I also had texts from Hayes, Nash, Cam, Jack, Jack, and Matt. I finally got home and walked inside I saw Macy and Bella sitting on the couch watching tv.
"Hey!" They both said.
"Hey, I'll be down in a minute." I said running up the stairs.

I walked in my room and was very shocked on what I saw. Presents all over my floor and on my bed, shopping bag after shopping bag. I'm guessing it was from Macy and Bella because they ran upstairs recording me. They are truly the best❤️
"You guys!" I yelled jumping in their arms.
"Anything for you!" Macy laughed.

Knock! Knock! I ran down the stairs and got the door.

"Hello, delivery for Chelsea Upton." The UPS guy smiled.

"That's me!" I laughed signing the papers.

"Alright, have a good day!" He said walking down the driveway.

I wonder what it could be? I don't remember ordering anything! I decided to open it the suspense was killing me. I opened it revealing a Michael Kors purse and a matching wallet. I opened the wallet and found $2000 and a note attached:

Dear Chelsea,

Happy birthday sweetie! It's crazy to think you're 16 years old already. I miss you, please come down soon. I've been very busy lately and won't be able to talk for awhile. Have a good day and sorry I couldn't be there to celebrate. Xoxo

I grabbed the note and presents and headed upstairs. This is how she decides to tell me happy birthday? A call or text would've been better, and I know she could find time for that. I decided to stop worrying, when I got upstairs I opened all my presents.

"Okay so we have one more present for you." Bella exclaimed.

"Are you serious?" I said kinda madly.

"Don't worry it's not anything worth $200!" Macy laughed.

Macy handed me a piece of paper folded up. I opened it and began to read it in my head, tears began to fulfill my eyes.

"You're right, it's worth more than that." I said smiling and engulfing them in a hug.

The note had said that they were able to move down here with me! I was so happy, we have to drive down to Florida tomorrow to go get some stuff. Also, Macy and Bella have to get their cars. We're only planning on staying down there for 2 days so we can be back for Hayes birthday. My friends from Florida are coming down on the 6th to come and see me for my birthday! They plan on staying for a little while, I think until the 10th. I'm just happy I get to finally reunite with them! The only downside about going to Florida is facing my mom and meeting my dad.
