Chapter 17

(Chelsea's POV)

Today is my last day in Florida and not gonna lie, I'm gonna miss it like crazy. Being here makes me realize what I'm missing out on but my life in North Carolina is great too. Logan talked to his dad and it's settled he's moving in! While everyone is finishing packing up and spending time with their families before they leave my dad and I are going to lunch. I decided to get ready for the day! I grabbed my phone and turned on: No faith in Brooklyn by Hoodie Allen and jumped in the shower. I decided to just dress causal, I got dressed put on a little makeup, straightened my hair and I was done.

"Hey dad! Ready to go?" I smiled.

"Yeah! Let me get my shoes on!" He replied.

"Can we go to Applebee's?" I asked.

"Sure!" He smiled.

We got to Applebee's and it wasn't that full. We ordered our food and we began to talk, I have questions I've always wanted to ask him.

"Dad you were gone for so long. Where were you the whole time?" I asked.

"I was still living in Florida, just not with your mom." He replied.

"What ever happened with you guys?" I questioned.

"Well, your mother is a model, we both know that but after she had you she would always leave out of the state, sometimes even out of the country. I was always at home watching you, not that I minded but sometimes I wanted to be the free parent. So one time your mom came home from a 2 week trip and I asked her if she could watch you the next night and she told me she was too busy. I found out your mother was cheating on me with her photographer." He explained.

"Oh my gosh, she always made it seem like you were the monster but really I was living with the monster." I said.

"Are you two still fighting?" He asked.

"Yeah, we fight a lot" I laughed.

We continued to talk until the food came out and then we ate. After we ate we went back home and I helped logan pack up the rest of his stuff.

***10:00***

We loaded everything in everyone's cars. Logan and I decided to drive together because we have a few cars already in North Carolina. Macy and Bella are both taking separate cars so they have a car for North Carolina. I ran up to my dad and jumped in his arms saying goodbye. Logan said bye to his dad and my mom hugged him but did not say one word to me. A tear fell as I walked out the door. Ughh, I hate goodbyes. Logan sat in the passenger seat and I drove off saying goodbye to Florida for a long time.

***8 hours later***

"WELCOME TO NORTH CAROLINA!" I yell.

It felt so good to be back in North Carolina. We only had a 2 hour drive until we were back home! Over those 2 hours we stopped at Taco Bell and a rest area. Finally we pull up to my house! I was so excited to be back here. Dylan got out of the car with amazement and walked inside. I showed him where he would be staying and gave him a tour of the house. Not to long after, Macy and Bella pulled up and came inside. We all napped and ate food the whole day, we were all exhausted. Maybe tomorrow we can do something fun and exciting! Our friends decided to come down the 5th instead of the 6th so I knew I had to go shopping.

**next morning**

It was the 4th, they'll be here tomorrow so my hopes for having a "fun day" might not exactly work. I need to go shopping and clean up the house a little bit. I decided to go shopping, I brought Jack Johnson with me because we're pretty close and we need to catch up. We went to Target, Walmart, Best Buy, Lowes, and Pier one imports. I ended up buying a ton of stuff for the guest rooms and bathrooms. Jack also came back and helped me clean up while Nash and Cam helped paint and hang up the TVs. Logan and Hayes went and played football together at the park and Macy and Bella helped clean and decorate. After about 2 hours everything was ready and we decided to get a snack. At 4 everyone went home and Logan came in my room.

"Hayes is pretty chill" he said.

"Haha, yeah. He's pretty cool" I laughed.

"Do you like him?" He asked smirking.

"What? Uh. No!" I said lying.

"Yeah okay!" He laughed walking out of my room.

Bella cooked spaghetti for all of us and we sat down at the table to eat. We all decided we'd go to bed early because everyone was going to be here tomorrow and we didn't want to be grumpy. Everyone got ready for bed and went to their rooms and watched tv. It wasn't long before I was passed out on my bed.
