Next morning
Your alarm went off, and you started your daily morning routine of course. It felt such a relief to know your leg healed after you unwrapped your bandage and tossed it in the bin. Thanks to Sarada's healing Jutsu, it healed much faster.
After you finished your breakfast, you head out. You gazed up into the sky and trees while admiring how beautiful and sunny the weather looked. You stretched your arms with a soft smile and relaxed them after.
"Thank goodness I didn't wake up in a sour mood this morning," you said to yourself.

As soon as you arrived & step inside the class, you heard ruffling and shifting noises above you. You look and had a blank stare in your face when you realized, Boruto was tied up to the ceiling squirming around & attempting to break free.
"Ehh?! What's up with that?!"
A girl whom you've never interacted with answers your question.
"He tried to pull a prank on the principal yesterday.."
You sighed. 'What an idiot'
You sat on your assigned seat. You look to the right with your eyes and noticed Sumire writing words on the chalkboard behind, shino.
"It's our first time our academy is conducting a class field trip outside the village." shino says
Sumire then places the chalk down after she finished writing the words behind her. 'The land of water'
"The land of water?" you read with a confused look on your face.
"The ocean...the seafood..grilled right on the beach," Chocho says as She gazed at the thought of eating all the food and drooled right after. Food seemed to be the only thing on her mind at the moment.
"you'll be representing our village." he continues. "so please, don't cause any trouble for my sake"
The boys were excited and talked about how fun it would be to not have class. Sarada glared at them. "Boys are so annoying" she muttered.
You smile and turn your attention back at shino. The land of water huh? That should be interesting. Shino then told the entire class, asking for any volunteers to be the leader for the trip. Silence then filled the entire room.
Of course no one volunteered to be responsible for a class full of troublemakers. Who would wanna do that anyway?
Suddenly, as shino began to think that maybe no one would, Sarada raised her arm up and suggested on, Boruto to be the leader. Boruto's eyes widen and squirmed around more than before. It was obvious he didn't want too but no one seem to care. Honestly, you didn't either and laughed silently as you watched him struggle to break free.
Shikadia perked up and smiled on what Sarada suggested. "That's a great idea! I think boruto would be a perfect choice, Shino sensei!" he added on.
"Boruto is cheerful and always seems to be the center of attention" she continued. " so therefore I think he'd be perfect!"
"I agree!" a student on the left shouts.
"me too!" another says.
Then the entire class agreed along with her.
"B-But..' Sumire says softly, she knew Boruto didn't have a say in this. She then looks up at him when she heard him making loud muffling noises. But then she looks to the left with her eyes and decided to not say anything.
Sarada glares up at him. "Looks like he has something to say"she remarked. She pulls out a shuriken and throws it towards the rope causing it to rip in half. Boruto lands on the ground with an angry look on his face.
"what gives! can't I say my opinion on this before all of you even agree!!" he shouts.
The class was excused and students walked out, ignoring him completely. A few minutes later he gave in and wiped the chalkboard in a frustrated manner. Some students stayed to clean which was you, Sarada, and shikadai.
"how do you feel, Boruto? or should I start calling you leader?' you teased
Boruto gritted his teeth and glared. "Shut up!!" he then places the chalkboard eraser down aggressively.
"why would you suggest me anyway, Sarada!" he growls
"oh shut up will you?" she says calmly while looking unbothered.
"Everyone agreed to it, so there's know point on whining now," shikadai says while wiping the tables. "This is such a drag, let's just finish up cleaning so we can head home''
"The less we hear you talk the sooner will get things done." you say to boruto.
Boruto rolls his eyes and pats the chalk dust off his hands. "Yea whatever.." he mutters.

After finishing, Sarada and you walk out of the academy. The both of you felt very excited to get a chance to see another village different from your own. After a nice long conversation you both head home and call it a day.
When you arrived at your house you heard a knock on your window. As expected it was Boruto throwing pebbles again.
you open up the window and glared at boruto below. "stop throwing those you'll end up breaking my window one of these days!" you shouted
"Relax. I just came by to ask if you wanted to play video games with me"
You thought for a moment before you spoke. "oh..I would, but I'm honestly tired and I just wanna sleep, maybe next time?"
You were bluffing when you said that, but you didn't want to feel stupid or embarrassed if anything else happened like yesterday. You just hoped for that moment he wouldn't see through your lie.
He raised a brow up. "oh really? ... Well, alright then, guess ill head home, see ya!" he waved goodbye and ran off in the distance.
You sighed in relief and close your window shut. 'That was close, but I can't risk myself getting all nervous and shy again' you thought.
You throw yourself on your bed.

You realized it was getting harder to get a grip on your emotions and keeping them in check, especially when the two of you are alone together. You admitted to yourself that you might've developed some sort of feelings for him. You didn't know if it was just a small crush or something deeper. This was all new to you anyway, so you didn't expect to know for now. Soon after, you calm your thoughts down and slept through the night.
