The next morning you grabbed your bag and packed your things for the trip. You felt very excited about the thought of going somewhere new.

"Are you sure you have everything you need?" Your mother asked for the third time.

You place your bag on your shoulder and zip it shut.

"Yes mom, and I doubled check like you asked me to." You said with a slightly annoyed tone in your voice.

Suddenly, She gives you a serious look. You smile nervously.

"Don't go around causing any trouble okay? And be careful! I've heard many things about that place."

you narrowed your eyebrows.  What's so bad about the land of water? If anything it'll be like taking a small vacation to the beach.

But boy were you clueless. You can't blame yourself for not knowing its history anyway.

you sighed in annoyance. You knew your mother says things like that to only look out for you. but it felt annoying to know that she thinks you probably couldn't protect yourself. You didn't want to seem defenseless and weak in her eyes.

"Mom it's fine, If anything I could protect myself!" you assure her while crossing your arms.

She smiles slightly and nodded.

"Anyway I should get going, I don't wanna be late!"

You waved goodbye and step outside. Your mother watches you running away in the distance for a moment. Then she closes the door behind her hoping you would have a safe trip.

Time skip

Finally, you arrived at the train station and entered inside along with your friends and classmates.

After 15 long minutes, the train finally arrives to its destination. You step out and look up to see a giant boat that will take you across the seas.

You gazed up in amazement. "Woah! It's so huge!"

"I know right!" Chocho says

Sarada smiles and crosses her arms. "I just hope this trip go smoothly" she then looks to the left and glares at boruto.

"What?! You made me the leader remember?! So Don't go and start looking at me like that!"

"Well, I'm just saying since everyone knows your so troublesome!" Sarada growls

Sumire walks between them attempting to calm the mood down. "Relax guys, the trip will go great I know it!" She assured

Soon after the students board the ship. You glanced at Sarada, Chocho, and Sumire near the deck of the boat rails, gazing at the view of the ocean. You decided to head over and talk to them.

"The view looks nice doesn't it?" You say while resting your arms on the rails.

Sarada looks at you with the left is her eyes.
"It really does"

"Anyway" Sumire asked while looking at Sarada. "Why did you nominate boruto to be the leader anyway?"

You and Chocho look at Sarada curiously at what she had to say. You both wondered the same thing anyway.
